@Jdm89 I started out with a 2 door base 2.7l Sasquatch and I got the better luck in 22 email, so I changed my order on Aug 18 to a 4dr Badlands 2.3l auto and got a Vin number on the Sept 30 round of scheduling.
If you have the MGV seats, get some 303 Protectant and put on them about once a week. It has UV protection built into it. The only downside to 303 is that it will wash off it gets wet. It is like Armor All with UV protection. Any marine supply will have it.
There are products that can repair a cracked block or a cracked head and can sometimes be a permanent fix. Look up Liquid Glass block sealer. I have seen that stuff do some miraculous things. Could possibly get you by until your Bronco arrives.
@Jdm89 Most of my dealings have been with Kyle the sales manager. He has been the one who placed my order and later changed it for me. I called my salesman a couple of weeks ago and he said that they haven't delivered any Broncos yet and that I would likely be their first to take delivery...
For curiosity sake, what dealer did everyone use to order their Bronco and how have you been treated throughout the order process? I ordered through Riser Ford in Hot Springs. So far, the only complaint that I have, is all of the communication has been one sided. Other than the lack of...
The soft top is looking better all of the time. Maybe Ford will make the soft top available on the two door. Apparently, there are still some significant hurdles left for the hard top.
That is similar to what is used. If you look at the pictures of the damaged top in mic 2.0 quality issues thread, the delaminating edges are actually the edges of the honeycomb as seen in your picture. the fish scaling is caused by the honeycomb and a really thin layer of gray gel-kote not...
That is a honeycomb core used to strengthen the fiberglass. It is also used in boat construction. It is strong and light weight. The honeycomb pattern is the fishscale everyone is complaining about on the mic tops. I tried to include a picture of a piece of honeycomb core, but I couldn't get...
You could be right. I looked up the distribution terminals for the rail carriers Ford uses listed here on 6g, and there is one in West Memphis. Does anyone in the group know where they ship to once they leave MAP headed to dealers in AR?
I would like to know the answer to that question too. I think they ship from MAP to West Memphis by rail and then are loaded onto transport trucks from there. My wife was in Little Rock yesterday and she said she saw two Broncos. one was a Badlands and the other she couldn't tell, but they...
Maybe the aerodynamics of the Bronco will be different and a deflector will work, but I'm not a big fan of the look anymore. I had one on my 2006 Jeep, but it didn't seem to help much.
I would like to be able to do this, but where I hunt I have sketchy phone service. My deer season vacation is scheduled the same week as my build week. I have a feeling I'm going to be making a lot trips to where I have service to check for emails from Ford and to see what is happening on the...
