  1. Questions for outer banks build

Keep in mind with the leather seats you also get the power seats and the center arm rest in the rear seat. Not sure if that makes a difference to you, but is another factor.

12" Screen comes with the High Package also.
  3. Ford’s Attempts To Shake Up The Dealer Model Could Kill Its EVs (Analysis article on Ford's New ICE/EV Dealership model)

I think the author is stuck in a dated mindset. There was a lot of talk about how Tesla would never succeed without a dealer network and now they control the entire purchase cycle. I believe this model could work for both EVs and ICE vehicles. Dealer's simply keep a few test vehicles on the...
  4. Am I being OCD about this?

Nope. Radial tires don’t have a “preferred” outside of the tire, but it is a practice to mount the factory DOT markings facing out. Factories mark the tread to easily identify the tire SKU during the production process. Once the tire is assembled attaching a tag isn’t possible so they mark the...
  5. Window Sticker

It populates 1 week before your blend date.
  6. Am I being OCD about this?

It’s just a thin bead of craft paint used to identify they tread compound and profile in the factory. It’s just sitting on the surface so it doesn’t take much to wear it off. If it really bugs you just switch it out for one of the other tires (not enough wear to justify a full rotation) and it...
  7. Bumped after email?

Mine was delayed first a week, then two weeks for the MAP shutdown due to chip shortage.

Good luck with that... Just remember railroads have their own police, maintain their own jurisdiction, and prosecute at the federal level.
  9. Will my misplaced Bronco find its way to the dealership?

I can confirm that it was unloaded at the Alliance Auto Facility late in the day on 3/7. Don't have access to the ramp inventory so I can't tell you if its still there or not.

Update: Railcar finally left Chicago and my wife still thinks I’m psycho level obsessed with this.
  11. Will my misplaced Bronco find its way to the dealership?

It's currently in San Antonio. Scheduled to go to the Kirby Auto Ramp tomorrow. Probably unloaded tomorrow or Friday.
  12. Will my misplaced Bronco find its way to the dealership?

Alliance is a BNSF facility, so your Bronco traveled via BNSF. If you give me the rail car #, I can verify where it unloaded. Truck labor is so tight, it’s taking forever to get cars off the ramp in some areas. Many dealers have resulted to doing “gate releases” where they go pick it up...

No way to know for sure, but your dates sound right. I would only expect 24-48 hrs from blend to build and shipping probably a day or two after that.

It's been made available for unload, has not been taken into the auto ramp facility yet.

Was your Bronco in Ice Mountain? I ask because the rail car wasn't loaded at MAP, it was loaded at an auto ramp CSX operates next to the Detroit Airport. Figuring they may have taken it there to load instead of back to MAP (assuming ICE Mountain status). There could be other reasons, but it's a...

Very nice. I've only sent about 8 emails telling my dealer to not mount even though they repeatedly state they don't mount it until the customer asks for it.
  17. You know what really chaps my a$$....

I actually saw a truck full of them on the interstate yesterday. First time I saw them in person. Not a bad looking truck. If it makes you feel better, the 3 you saw probably make up about 20% of all the ones they've managed to produce at this point.

Maybe try the Ford customer service chat? They may be able to provide an update. Trucks are in short supply, and I don't know the Atlanta market, but 10 days is a long time.

So, not surprisingly, I've been watching my own rail car like a hawk. Seeing it make it's way through the maze that is Chicago. I remarked to my wife that if that rail car doesn't move soon, I'm going to go to Chicago and unload that damn rail car myself. She replied, "OMG, you are so...
