If I am following you, you had the above recall and the dealership had your Bronco for 2 days and was not able to correct the recall with Ford's "fix" so they told you to come get it without the recall being corrected and you have not had an update since then... I believe I had/have the same...

They didn’t blame me. That was the recommendations I received when I asked how I should avoid this in the future. It seemed it was a well known issue that is rare but happens from the in vehicle tech support team. The dealership said they have never heard of this.

the guy seemed very calm and confident. Said that he has heard of it happening and then told me that info... I still think it is crazy that it appears to be a known issue and they don't advise those steps. More crazy that this is the "preventative fix"...

Tried that no luck

They tried to update it manually over the air and it didn’t work so they are towing it later this morning. Said they would reimburse $40/day for a rental but I just checked and the lowest is over 60 near me.

I sold one in august for 10.5k over msrp and then last week at 8.5k over msrp (not counting for TTL). Same trim and options, sold to same dealership. FYI I had a quote in July from the same dealer saying if I would have had the title in hand at that moment, they would have paid 16k over msrp for it.
