Anyone planning to get into "FORScanning", plan accordingly. Their website says obtaining a license key could take up to 30 minutes. It's been 24 hours and I've heard nothing. Anyone know if purchasing a license key makes it happen any faster?
Without revealing my source, I've been told Ford has a substantial Quality Control issue right now especially with vehicles built during Covid. Warranty issues are being booked months into the future and some replacement parts are simply not available. Vehicles have sat on the lot waiting for...
Mud flaps. My personal preference is for Weathertech. At first I had only read about it but now, I can tell you from experience the OEM Goodyear tires pick up stones like crazy. I'm not talking while off-roading, gravel road, gravel parking lot, loose stone on the highway, you name it. Flaps...
I've known me for a long time and I know me pretty well. The dealer can only do so much and the fact that they are working with you, says a lot about them. If it were me, I would sell/trade the vehicle as soon as repairs were done. The thought would always be in the back of my mind, "what...
I don't like it but not to the extent that I've invested/installed the aftermarket override module. I've gotten used to clicking my seat belt, pushing the start button and then pushing the override button. I'm retired. I've got that kind of time.
I consider my vehicle my "personal space". I'm constantly tweaking it to my convenience. This may be convenient for some, it would not for me. I'm used to keeping my FOB in my pocket just like I'm used to starting my vehicle and immediately pressing the AS/S button. To each his (or her) own.
Very interesting. I posed the same question recently. I've noticed it a few times now. A/C is OFF, temperature dial on "Lo". Last time I was troubleshooting, I turned the temperature dial up from "Lo" to ~75 until I felt warm air, then back down to "Lo" and then it felt like outside air...
I traded my 2021 Bronco Sport AND my 2018 F-150 Raptor for my Bronco BD Sasquatch. I loved the Raptor, it was a "trophy" for me, it was a head turner, a great conversation piece and a blast to drive. When the time came for someone else to enjoy it, I never even considered a Bronco Raptor. As...
2023 BD/Sasquatch - Cool summer day. I jumped in the Bronco and turned on the A/C (Normal, not Max). Got the vehicle cooled off and decided to open the windows. Turned off the A/C. Cold air continued to blow from the vents. No lights on the climate control panel so I know I shut it off...
I used to be a roadrunner (drove for dealer swaps) for a Ford dealership. I would get sent hundreds of miles to another state to pick up a car that another dealer within 25 miles had sitting on the lot. Yeah dealers are extremely competitive.
Interesting topic. I am soooo particular about my vehicles. I've replaced valve stem caps and license plate bolts because they were discolored. Bash me if you must but I take great pride in my vehicles. Anyway, I took delivery of my BD/Sasquatch in January. I'm very tempted to remove the...
I think the "technical" term is the "prompt volume". The only way that I know of (and you have to be fast) is adjusting the volume while the navigation system is speaking. Seems weird to me but it the only way I've found so far.
First priority - Mud Flaps. Get good ones. My preference is for Weathertech. Great fit and great look. You won't have to look to far to find comments about how the Goodyear tires notoriously pick up stones and ding up the sides.
