Looking closer at the JCR- it doesn't wrap the weld. It's simply a black strip on the outside of the weld.

This is my plan. Those "bed liners" tend to get moisture caught inside and speed the rusting process. My only fear with this weld cover is that the same will happen. Trapped moisture in the weld. Gonna look into it more. If I go with the weld cover I will definitely woolwax the area before...
My thought is to get a pair of Sas fenders that I leave factory black. Take off my factory fenders (big bend) and paint them body color. The ease of switching the fenders out makes it possible to have multiple sets. I'll put the larger sas fenders on for gravel days- and keep the painted fenders...
Check list was great. I sent it to my dealer ahead of pickup. They'd never seen something like that before but plan to use it on all their Broncos going forward.
Picked her up today. Figure we could use some "non-tricked out" photos of Broncos.
I originally had a bronco on order. When I learned it would be months/years until I'd get it, I cancelled my res.
I was in need of a car. Luckily found this dealer ordered Bronco.
Luckily this was pretty much...
Happy to report she was clean. Very little rust underneath. Nothing like what some of the people are reporting.
Gotta say that the iconic silver is WAY prettier in person.
It reflects skylight and gets a slight blue tint to it. Already a joy to drive. Looking forward to Summer beach days.
I get my Bronco tomorrow.
Is there anything I should be looking for (known defects) before taking her home?
I plan to do a walkthrough of the vehicle looking for defects.
Wondering if there are any known defects or issues I should be aware of?
4Door Big Bend.
