Just don't torque it down too hard as it might mar the shaft and prematurely wear your strut seal.

I've thought of going with the Herculiner or similar spary/brushed on stuff. That's definitely an option and once you are said a done it looks good. But not sure if I want to tackle that much work which is a must if you want it to look right and last. Was thinking more along the line of adhesive...

Yeah I used to have the FP soft molle panel but those and the tables/alloy molle panels lie within the recess with the vents and leave the edge surround exposed.
