My dealer tells me that the amount per Ford's standard "price protection" schedule of amounts is that I will be given a "certificate" or "rebate" that is basically a credit at the time of my final payment/sale. My BL will be like $975 that will be credited to my deal. The price protection...
Nobody here will dissuade you from a Bronco in this Bronco echo chamber. I once had a friend of a friend try to convince me his SUZUKI samurai was the greatest 4x4 that was ever built………because that is what he had and that is what he chose. That tribalism is real…..silly as that is. 4-Runner...
Sorry, probably somewhat of an optical illusion, but I am not drilling my fender unless placement is PERFECT. I see too many people putting stickers and emblems on vehicles that are totally fucked up, IMO. Most people may not even know or realize it, but I am pretty picky. I think the script...
I have a Rockford-Fosgate system in my 2008 Nissan Xterra. I am no real audiophile, but that system has been awesome.......best stereo system I have ever had in a vehicle. I don't think you will be disappointed with those speakers.
Interesting perspective. While I am a Day 4 reservation holder and frustrated as anyone I still don't have a build date, I actually think I will ABSOLUTELY do a reserved vehicle order in the future. Why? Well, I have always just gone to a dealer and settled for whatever they have on the lot...
I like that design. Other designs I see don't seem to be too concerned with getting airflow to the intercooler. Glad to see it looks like you have ample venting in the lower center. Is that also a cut-out for an adaptive cruise control sensor.....the rectangular opening on the passenger side...
Does it have a double joint like this picture?......two ball joints ad the ends of the short rod? If so, the double ball joint should allow you to push the mirror to the right by quite a bit and then re-adjust angles so you can see properly.
@BlueBronco , once again, thanks for the advice. I am an optimist and I do value ethics and I feel good about what I hear from my dealer. I can take the ridicule all anyone wants to give, but I believe in goodness and ethics when I see things first hand. Everyone can apply their experiences...
Thanks, @JediMcMuffin . I'll forward that information to my dealer and see if it makes a difference. I am a Day 3 reservation holder and am now at like day 506 without any definitive production horizon. I am never going to abandon and buy a Jeep, however.
Fair enough, @pan-y-cerveza , but I have been spending an unhealthy amount of time on B6G over the last week since I joined and I do feel a vast majority of what I see is an awful lot of opinion. For me to try and stich together a connection on those reported claims back to credible sources...
FINALLY! Thank you, @BlueBronco ! I'll emphasize this with my dealer and see if it may help. Installing that stuff myself is easy-peasy, so if it truly does help with accelerating my build it gives me more hope. Problem is I don't think this issue is any more problematic than my MIC/2-door...
You choose to believe a typed up post on a forum because that is what you believe. That isn't a reliable source. That is just a "I heard" position just as much as mine was. Calling bullshit on the hate here from my original post.
Show me a Ford website post or a reliable industry press...
Was the tow package on that list? If so, think about that......really think about that. You REALLY believe that a bit of wiring harness, an electrical connector, and a bit of bent/welded steel is going to hold up production of a vehicle? My opinion......someone is smoking crack to believe...
