This would be a great project for someone like @Mabett even if it uses ABS and not expensive steel or aluminum ones currently offered from current 3 parties or Fordās overpriced slide out tailgate. Yes plastic is not as secure, however if lockable, it would at least provide some extra storage...
I finally got everything finished and am very satisfied with the results. The DD SS3 Sports fit quite nicely and are plenty bright enough for my needs. I may add a winch eventually, but some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss or BFG KO3 in 285/70/17 are a higher priority.
I did finally manage to get it installed last weekend with a friendās help. You donāt have to remove the existing tow hooks that come with the plastic bumper, but the installation is so much easier if you do as there is not much room to get a socket to turn the bolts on the Body Armor bumper...
Yup, it arrived Wednesday morning via full sized tractor trailer on a pallet. The box including pallet was 236 lbs! I hope to at least unbox it today and take inventory, but with Fall temps fast approaching, I have a bunch of outside chores to knock out first, so install this weekend is...
Good deal, Iām excited too! Iāve been waiting for an affordable quality steel bumper which includes front bash plate and bull bar to be released from a third party manufacturer since I dropped the mod bumper from my order to get it built and delivered in Dec 2021. If Ford made the mod bumper...
I guess I pulled rock (and the trigger) and ordered the front bumper. If I find I like it and itās good quality, will likely order the rear bumper as well. With the Labor Day sales they were having, combined with the new customer 10% off, it only came to $798 shipped! Not bad for all you get...
Thank you! I was hoping LT 285/70/17 would fit without issue since Mickey Thompsonās webste states minimum rim with for that size as 8.57. I really donāt want to do a lift/level either until I can find either Badlands or Sasquatch takeoff suspension for a decent price. If I go that route, may...
OP: Did you end up going with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss? The difference I see from MTās website is the STD rated ties are not 3PMS rated and have a 60k mile tread warranty, whereas the LT rated tires are 3PMS rated and have a 50k mile tread warranty. Also, both STD and LT rim width for...
I went out for supplies (mostly for Chinese food - my personal Christmas Eve tradition, ha) yesterday and after Bronco sat out in the driveway in below zero temps for 2 days straight, it started right up using remote start. I let it run with the heater and seats on full blast for about 20...
I left a glowing review on your Amazon page, which reminds me I need to also leave a review for your cargo tonneau cover I purchased awhile back, also excellent! Everyone that has ridden in the Bronco since I installed the seat covers have complimented how nice they look and feel. I especially...
Finally had a chance to get these installed and I am extremely satisfied with the quality construction, looks, feel, materials, price, and thorough instructions. The seat heaters work fine after installation, but I do find myself turning them up to level 3 whereas previously 2 was plenty warm...
I just ordered a set and they should be here Tuesday, which is great timing as I have next week off. Will post pics here once installed and add my review to Mabettās Amazon page. Thanks Mabett, I have been anxiously waiting for these to be available!
I still need to turn the sub upside down so the quick disconnect will be on the left-hand side and then some cable management, but it stays put once velcroed to the back seat carpet. The tonneau cover seems to help the overall sound and Iām quite happy with the results.
Kit 11-4 includes 17ā of high level positive and negative left and right channel for a powered sub. Using that PNP kit, I finally got my Kicker 11HS8 installed and strapped to the LATCH for kidsā carseats and velcroed to carpet of rear seats weekend before last, and wow, what a difference! The...
Man I miss Whataburger! Hoping to make a Bronco road trip to Big Bend next summer and will definitely be getting my share of Whataburgers while traveling through.
Any time my dealer receives a non customer ordered Bronco, or if someone backs out of their order, or even receives a slightly used one, they immediately drop it off at the local 4 wheel shop to have a cheap 3.5ā lift, aftermarket 17ā wheels (usually Rhino), and 37s installed complete with the...
