Well my 4/27 blend date Bronco just went live on my FordPass. From what I can see she is a little thirsty and some fool has her tires at 50psi! I can see it on the map so maybe it will update often enough for me to track her home. Temping to just start her up to mess with those around. But no...
It was off and anytime I received the notification I would check the app. It was always under 13v. It was covered under warranty since it was less than 2yrs old. Live in a desert environment and batteries rarely last more than 2yrs.
That’s exactly how mine was 12.5-12.9v. Anytime under 13v the computer will freak out. Today’s computers need a very clean and consistent voltage or they have issues.
I did.
Battery never failed but the deep sleep mode would happen on and off. Go on a long drive then voltage would be above 13v but quick short trips and it would drop below 13v, anytime that happened deep sleep. Went on for a month or so before I finally got it to the dealer. During that time...
Hold please…
Being a card carrying member of the Diminutive American Club this person is on the smaller member scale. I’m guessing 5’4”-5’5” so perspective is key. Having said that I can’t wait to be dwarfed by mine.
Just had this with my Explorer, it was the battery. Not sure if you use the Scriptable app that shows battery voltage but mine was under 13v and that is when the trouble started. May not be the case here but I’d have it looked at
If you have not been scheduled yet you should be able to add. If you have a build date (I don’t) then you are stuck with what they have. Also your dealer may not want deal with the added work. But that original post was before the ordering deadline.
Maybe the next person in mine is some noob you know the type that never reads the user agreement and just hits “accept” and off we go.
Ummmm on second thought I don’t want that guy anywhere near my Bronco!
Mods have popped and tear tag updated yesterday. Still no shipping change ASN.
But right now my Bronco is waiting for me to confirm activation for FordPass app. Maybe someone will start it and confirm on screen verification. One can dream. Would be nice to see it on the map.
Love what you guys are doing here. And appreciate how well you have kept us updated. This question might be a little early and didn’t see it in other threads. But will this work on the Raptor with the two added support beams?
Thanks in advance!
644 days since reservation and finally have a sticker
4/26 blend, was told by dealer 4/27 was the build date so moved up a day.
1358/2189.
Getting ready to deal with all the price differences, and making sure all FordPass points get applied.
I like the new H.O.S.S 3.0 on the Wildtrak but before you drop that $2800 just know the 3.0 is not the same as the Raptor’s. The Raptor has the H.O.S.S. 4.0 with active suspension. But would definitely get the 3.0 on the Wildtrak.
I like where your head is at! I’m all for sticking it to the man, that’s why they call me Petty Crocker. But to do this GT holders will have to surrender their original Bronco and go to the end of the line.
Would probably do this if it was me but can’t ask someone else to do the same.
Fine l’ll cave to the peer pressure.
I also received the email and back door updated! So it begins.
It will be interesting to see if our relatively drama less group changes with the inevitable Ford updates since we seem to be on their radar now.
God speed to all!
