Wow, thatās an awesome comparison pic and definitely agree about the extended warranty, similar to the Bronco (IMO) too much technology thatās going to eventually fail.
PS. Happy birthday! Just had mine a few days ago, on the 30th.
LOL, and I thought I was the only oneā¦hit that darn headlight switch all the timeš. Had a TKR several years ago so itās numb and half the time canāt tell Iāve bumped it or not, only way I can tell is the āheadlight onā chime when Iām climbing outš
Nice, had not looked at the K1600 b4, will have to check it out. Curious have you any experience with the BMW 1250RS lineup? Always been a fan of sport bikes (still miss my CBR1000RR) but no longer a viable choice now that Iām in my 60ās and looking for a longer distance and more comfortable rideā¦
Speaking of bikes, howās your GS 1300 treating you? All new this year and have been reading solid reviews on it. Will likely be my next bike for longer distance trips.
Just out on it yesterday. Had a great ride, but do miss the SoCal canyons, Mulholland/LakeElizabeth/Lockwood Valley areas. It is a fun canyon carver for sure, 400lbs soaking wet and that in-line triple has plenty of torqueš
That came out nice, I had no idea you could have your wheel recovered! Great that you didnāt have to purchase the entire wheel. Hoping their turn-around time was pretty quick?
Iāve had my āHood Ajarā warning come on several times. Only occurs first start after being parked overnight connected to my maintainer. Has always cleared after re-closing the hood (although it was securely closed/latched at the time of all warnings). Never had it happen while underway.
No kidding Brian? I never noticed the entire IP area changing color - only the Bronco icon in upper left had corner. Iāll have to check it out as I use Sport mode several times a week on average. However tempting as it may be - youāre absolutely NOT going to get me downstairs in the garage...
I did a similar steering wheel swap on my 2017 GT350 (didnāt care for stock Alcantara wheel). Youāre only replacing the wheel and you reinstall stock hub/airbag uinit/switchgear, etc. Was really straightforward and the airbag was not difficult to remove & reinstall. DO disconnect the battery...
Definitely enjoying the Lux pkg. features. My wireless charger works great and does not tend to overheat the phone (as others here have reported). Here on the central coast I use the heated wheel frequently and the ACC (main reason I purchased Lux) works great. The B&O sound system is only...
They wear fast for sure. I was replacing BFG K02s every 20k miles on my 2018 Raptorā¦they just didnāt hold up well. Part of the issue is they were C rated tires which I suspect are too light for a 6k lb. truck. Went with Toyo Open County AT llls on the Bronco, at 7K miles they appear to be...
Me, Iād wait until you buy your next set (IF you go with same tire) and the rotate spare in. You s/b easily able to see if the spare has been on the ground or not by lack of tread wear.
PS congrats on you new (to you) Bronco. Get ready for miles of smilesš
