Agreed! I was 5/7 edd confirmed by my dealer a few weeks ago. And from what I can tell we just missed the chips. It seems like they maybe ran out on 1/12 or 1/13. You’d think we’d be seeing more movement. 😣
As someone sitting on ice mountain since 1/14, this brings some joy to my heart that maybe, just maybe those of us waiting for a microchip will get out before they continue with new builds. Brand new builds getting delivered while 1000s of us wait on ice mountain is what is making my blood turn...
EDD also missing now. Did anyone else notice the shift in bubbles on the tracker? Where it used to say delivery or estimated delivery (can't remember which) after shipped, mine now says 'final preperation'. Please note the spelling error is Ford's, not mine. LOL. but that can't be good - how...
I saw that this is what Steeda is doing, due to the manufacturing issues. This is unprecedented for them. You can buy a package and have it installed at certified dealers. It makes total sense this could be done by Ford as well.
It's a shame. There are and have been SO many opportunities for Ford to do better. And they take none of them. I'm in digital marketing and responsible for reputation management. If they need tips on how this can be done better, I'm very happy to help. ;)
Meanwhile over in the 1/10 build week group we have Ford replying to the 2 people who actually had their broncos ship this week. Crickets for the rest of us. They clearly understand customer service
@Ford Motor Company - you realize you are on a 1/10 build week thread replying to 2 out of 100s of us who have actually had their Bronco shipped from this week right? It would be better customer service and appreciated by all to speak to the masses, not the few. When can those of us that were...
I'm very happy you shared...especially since it's EG and that's what I'm waiting on! Will take all of the 'in the wild' pix I can get since can't see it in person.
From what I can tell they just slapped 3 months on to the end of our original delivery dates. Example: mine was 2/6 then 2/28 now (and has been since Jan) 5/7 (though my dealers notes say 5/1-5/7)
Pizza tracker says in production 1/14 which matches screenshot from dealer.
The dealer view shows produced on 1/15 then a note with estimated delivery of 5/1-5/7 with the chip hold.
It is on the dealer website but maybe that's because it is built just no chip? I was hoping this meant I was...
FWIW, I also just reached out to my dealer and asked if he knew something since it is on their website. I got sent back their view which still says the EDD of 5/7 and indicates 'chip hold'. So either they will be surprised too when it shows up OR it being on their dealer website doesn't really...
I wasn't sure what they meant either but I went to my dealer's customer facing website (for me Chapman Ford) and searched their inventory like I was trying to buy from their lot and low and behold my Bronco is listed there but does say 'not in stock' or something similar.
This is the first I’ve heard of checking the dealer’s site. I found my bronco on there!! Can anyone tell me what that means? As far as I know I’m on ice mountain. None of my trackers have changed since I got pushed to a 5/7 EDD a few weeks ago. Originally a 2/6 EDD. 1/14 blend date.
I am a 1/10 production week and 1/14 blend date and don't believe I have seen any past 1/12 (maybe 1/13) get moved off of ice mountain. Also I've read on in multiple threads that the dates at the bottom of window stickers get updated weekly and don't really mean anything.
