  1. Let the next topic of fun begin! What options will be available for 2022 build?

I don't think there will be much new for '22 other than ManSquatch (which does have me interested if it's available on base) and a couple different colors. The #1 priority for Ford right now should be building and delivering Broncos.
  2. Dealer not selling me my Bronco

Lesson learned here, don’t sell something until you have possession of it. Also loose lips sink ships.
  3. Wireless Apple Carplay is Awful

My Hyundai has wireless AA and CarPlay. When I purchased it I had an Android and it worked great. Switched to iPhone and never have been able to get wireless to work. Still not sure if it’s a problem with my car or phone but it is frustrating.
  4. I still haven’t seen a single Bronco out in public

I’ve only seen one in the wild and confirmed it being driven by the owner of a local Ford dealership. However judging by the amount of Wranglers we have around here in 10 years time I expect my area to be flooded with Broncos.
  5. What's your back-up plan?

If I get to spring of 23 without a Bronco I’ll start looking seriously at Wranglers.
  6. Curious Why it Seems so Many People Want a Manual Trans?

Automatics are more efficient, manual is more fun to drive.
  7. 📣 Ford announces MIC hardtop solution (program 21B49): unscheduled orders will get MY2022, delivered & built Broncos will have tops replaced

As a late reservation holder I knew what I was getting into. From my perspective I'm just glad the situation is being addressed and there is a game plan to move forward. Also people worried about their trucks sitting outside, most new vehicles don't come fresh off the assembly line. I...
  8. Is getting this Bronco a smart decision?

This sounds like the Suzy Orman "Can I Afford It" segment lol. Personally I'm not a fan of leasing to be each his own.
  9. Tough decision to make

No that's crazy, just wait a year it's not worth it to pay $50-60k (probably more if there is financing involved) to drive a Bronco for a year.
  10. Concerns about Tachometer on Manual

OP you are overthinking this (happens to us all) if you want to shift get the manual if not get the auto. The tach might be a little goofy but it will be fine. Like others have posted I've driven a vehicle without a tach, in my case a Kawasaki EX500 I drove in college had a broken tach which I...
  11. Overland Green Confirmed For 2022 Bronco?

I agree these colors are very polarizing but I always though the Taco looked good in the brown "Quicksand" color. The Tundra on the other hand looks God-awful with this type of paint. I like a lot of metal flakes because after washing & waxing you get the satisfaction of watching it sparkle in...
  12. Cyber Orange vs School Bus side-by-side

LOL great picture, I saw a Bronco Sport the other day in Cyber Orange and it looked really nice. It was dusk with the type of lighting that makes everything look good so that might be part of it.
  13. Neat thing: Manual Gear Indicator + other 7MT thoughts

Me too, I was also excited about the Genesis G70 when it came out because it had a manual but sadly they already dropped it. I'm glad Ford put in the money to design a brand new manual transmission for the Bronco so they won't be tempted to do the same! The competition with Wrangler helps too...
  14. Neat thing: Manual Gear Indicator + other 7MT thoughts

I actually prefer analog tach and digital speedometer like my old CBR. Digital speedometer is better IMO because its a quicker glance down to check your speed. Ford going with the opposite is a bit of a head scratcher.
  15. 2 Door Base First Impressions and Ride Along With 360-degree Camera

That's the first 360 video I've watched, really cool! My only gripe would be the Sparty hat (go blue lol).
  16. Bronco Daily Build Rates at MAP for the Week of 8/2

Well to be fair Jeep has a little bit of a head start building Wranglers
  17. Car and Driver - Tested: 2021 Ford Bronco Manual Brings the Fun

Nice to see the manual getting some love, there are so few left these days. Hopefully with the competition between Bronco and Wrangler neither company will want to be the first to drop it. Also great pictures in the article, has me considering Anitmatter Blue again which was the first color I...
  18. Trigger to convert reservation to order?

I'm beginning to think this as well, I put in my reservation a couple weeks ago and no word at all from my dealer. A quick call or email would be nice. I've got a day off next week going to hit my reservation dealer first but if I don't get a good vibe from them I'll check others out. I'm in...
  19. A Wrangler Owner/Enthusiast/Builder honest review of the 2021 Bronco -- long...

Great post, I'm a little concerned about the MGV getting hot but the sun doesn't shine at Arizona levels where I live so hopefully it will be ok. I'm set on Black Diamond so I don't have much choice in the matter anyways! There are always seat covers if it's really needed.
  20. I finally got to drive a bronco today!!!!!

Like others I agree that with rear facing seats the 2 door would be a pain. If you are only planning to have one kid it might be doable but if you are planning on more I would go 4 door. Dealing with two car seats in the back including one rear facing would be a major PITA.
