Not sure if it part of a trim package, but on my Black Diamond Mid Pkg, there is a DRL on/off setting under settings/vehicle/lighting. Shouldn't need forscan to turn off all DRL.

Had the dealer install this last week. Parked at my office about 40 yards from the street, Harley's and semis are setting it off (just one beep). Thinking I'm going to have to adjust the sensitivity, lol.

Only had top down all the way once since installing, but no rub and looks like about 1/2" of clearance on both sides. I did put some felt tape on the struts just in case, but good for now.

Mine came as default off. It is just a small square button you press in.
