  1. Fender Flare Connection Points Look Flimsy

I'm just gonna drive mine around how it is. If someone goes to the trouble of taking my flares off, well, I guess I'll just get some more. They have no value outside of shenanigans and are more work than keying or cutting soft-top windows. I don't worry about that stuff either, so I'm...
  2. “Your Bronco Has Been Built” Status Thread! 🤩

August 2 is pretty late, but if you stuck with a soft top you have a good shot at seeing your rig get scheduled soon. Good luck!
  3. Ford Bronco as primary family vehicle?

This is always true! Trade-offs are what car-shopping is about. I've yet to find the vehicle that hits every one of my desires, though most hit my needs (do they get me from A to B safely?).
  4. Ford Bronco as primary family vehicle?

I saw you addressed this in a later post, but wanted to come back to it - any of what you said seems quite doable, other than a trip with the kids, any significant amount of luggage AND the dog. Lots of people with two kids make 4-door Wranglers their family rides. Tons of people (us included)...
  5. Ya gotta start to wonder

No doubt. But if a person wants to be able to control things, they can wait to make their order active until more is known. That might be a full year from now, but it's an option.
  6. 🗓 2022 Bronco Dates Revealed - Ordering, Scheduling & Production Start Date

Timestamp of your original reservation should still be there. If your order was in by 3/19 then your price should stay the same as long as you order substantially the same vehicle.
  7. Today's B&P Update Gem.

I just went to Ford.com and started building a 4 door with no problem...
  8. Ya gotta start to wonder

While I understand the frustration, if you want timing certainty right now (or any time over the last year) then 99ing the order or just waiting to put in an order is the best bet. Pulling $50k from investments to make sure the cash was available for a vehicle that had never had a build date...
  9. Ya gotta start to wonder

Maybe so, but Ford obviously doesn't know the answers. One way to have more certainty, for those who want that, is to 99 an order and wait until there are fewer unknowns.
  10. Ya gotta start to wonder

Ford never said everyone would get a build date in May. Ford did say it planned to give everyone a "delivery window" in May (which could be quite wide and non-commital) but given commodity constraints determined even that was more than they could do. It's frustrating, but Ford did offer what...
  11. Ford must be doing something right. Bronco Essentially Sold Out for Years

Based on a couple comments here over the last two weeks or so, tomorrow has been cited as the embargo date for reviews to start going public. We'll see - but I'm hoping to see some actual independent videos and articles to start popping up this week.
  12. What to expect at Bronco OFF-Roadeo | YOU SHOULD GO!

Enjoyed the video - thanks! Looking forward to getting to Austin, which is a cool place to visit even before enjoying an experience like this. Just gotta get the schedule figured out - it'll be a blast I'm sure!
  13. Knife for your Bronco?

Same. It's sharp and didn't cost much. Perfect.
  14. Knife for your Bronco?

But with the cupholder shortage, where will you keep it?
  15. What Would Your Second Bronco Be?

Wrestling with that now as we have a late reservation for a second. Since we are going 4 door, Lux, 2.7 Badlands with the first, we're definitely going 2 door with the other. Currently leaning Black Diamond with the steelies and MT, though we'd really like the mid package - we'll see if that's a...
  16. 🗓 2022 Bronco Dates Revealed - Ordering, Scheduling & Production Start Date

I'm a non-priority, non-FE, MIC with a VIN and week of 7/19 build. 7/13 reservation. I know there are several others. That said, it would be a lot better if we saw more getting scheduled. I consider myself quite lucky!
  17. 🗓 2022 Bronco Dates Revealed - Ordering, Scheduling & Production Start Date

Do you have a link? I've not seen that and would be interested. Everything I've seen points to less than that. Ford has communicated that hard tops are a constraint and will influence production for some time going forward. It's very unlikely if you aren't a day 1/maybe 2 order and sticking with...
  18. “Plastic” Interior

One thing I always enjoy about these threads is just how much is dependent on perception and taste. I've sat in a Bronco, and I love the interior. I didn't get "cheap" out of my experience at all, and I like bells and whistles. It's a bit utilitarian, but I love it so much more than either of...
  19. Order numbers (Stats)

Wanna bet on what? There were 125k orders converted, not 90k. That's in the news all over the place. Ford has targeted production of 50-60,000 MY21. Almost all will be done between August 1 and Thanksgiving, when the line makes changes for MY22 production. I totally agree that this is a...
  20. Order numbers (Stats)

I don't believe any of this is right. This is my understanding: There were 190,000 reservations by the late September/early October date when there was a break. Approximately 125,000 were converted to orders by March 19. This includes code 99 that are deferring to MY22. I haven't seen any...
