Absolutley right. I have plenty of experience with 2015 plus cars from "the peoples car" they are not good like they used to be. I will never own another
I have been thinking along these lines since the start of the MIC catastrophe. It's like Ford doesnt want to admit the problem is that bad or something. We VIN holders have never been given any options, we just wait while we watch new people and trucks roll down the street. My opinion is that...
This guy gets it. I'm sure Ford is eating more than crow , but at the same time long time res holders with VIN's are stuck holding the bag on this one . Not able o change, not able to walk without losing money and dealer making out, watching dealers get stock or selling demos before res holders...
My sincerest condolences . Also, this is concerning that hitting something in the bash plate/bumper area damaged whats underneath. Whats gonna happen on the trail when someone slips a small ledge and lands on a rock?
keep in mind that you still have all options available to you. All the "F'n whiners" with a VIN are stuck and cannot make any adjustments as new things come out or constraints. As you know there has been a lot of aftermarket items and concerns over Ford parts that someone might want to take off...
You seem to be forgetting that there is lift glass back there. Pull the tire just out of the way and glass up for small items. Or the back or side seat if its something that small to just get it home. Also if we had fold down there would be somewhere to sit or have sandwiches without having to...
I believe you are on the right path here. From what it looks like from the plug all 4 wires are there. 2 coming in and 2 coming out. The original factory plug on speaker side must route back. The wires from the new adapter plug shows 6 wires. That would tell me that 2 are for the the kick and...
This is what I am wondering also with the kick panel plug and wiring. Do they simply pass through to the dash or are they parallel to the kicks. That will make a huge difference in choosing the correct ohms and also if you could/should use different ohms between dash and kick
Supposedly 8/16 build week informed by Ford in email. Originally 7/26. Only emails i have ever received from Ford after original order. Dealership is as useless as tits on a bull . Very frustrating
DId you make these diagrams yourself or get them from somewhere? Do you know if the 4 wire pass-through plug is run in parallel or if the plug separates them out? Also, is the factory main unit the same with a digital plug-in module for BO or are they completely different? Really hope this...
Everyone on this thread, lets just take a moment to remember how fortunate we are to have a VIN. Anyone that received that email prior to the end of May really breathed a sigh of relief. After all, the rumors had already started that if you did not receive a VIN by then , you'd likely not be...
So how is it that the chart shows that Badlands are in the black and buildable , yet scroll down the page a little ways and it says front locker is very red. Pretty sure you cannot option a Badlands without a front locker :cautious:
I agree with "most" of this. Ford themselves isn't being dishonest if they put it right on the window sticker what they are charging. However, our dollar is not going as far when it comes to what you get for the amount charged. The dealership is where this sort of behavior is magnified. They...
We ship goods from where I work every day. The cost to ship one load 75 miles or 300 miles is close to $3000. Thats 5 pallets or 28. No one wants to pay shipping charges and they dont always seem fair. But to you're comment of the way to avoid is to not buy a Ford, well, you show me where else I...
Question for you other Badlands folks. I've stalked this forum for a year now and read it every day. However, I still don't seem to understand where to get the info you all seem to have. I have a VIN and "build date" (which isn't true) but I don't see anything. No window sticker, no email, no...
I have seen several pics like this. It looks like the paint was never intended to go deep inside and thats why the plastic filler trim that hides the inside of fender. Disappointing to see it and hope it is corrected. The thing I dont hear people talking about though is that every picture...
Had a '73 . Removed original 302 and dropped in 351W. Loved that truck but it sat awhile because didnt have time to work on brakes. Sold it dirt cheap to a guy that that wanted to restore it around 2008. Always regretted it. The only plus side is, that is why the little lady is being so...
