  1. OBX vs Wildtrak

I agree with you on the pricing. Using the pricing tools a while ago I was finding that it was really only about $1000(?) difference, in the large scheme of things thats not a huge difference. In reality I need fords official #s to make up my mind for good. Some of the options may end up...
  2. OBX vs Wildtrak

I was originally going with a two door OBX but have decided on a two door wildtrack because I want the modular hardtop & potentially the Lux package, then my husband wants the 2.7 and the sasquatch package. The big thing for me is the upgraded hardtop. With the expected cost $$$ to upgrade that...
  3. Anyone taught their wife to drive a Manual Trans?

My parents taught both my sister and I how to drive a manual. My mom always said she wanted us to know how so that man can't keep us from driving THEIR car just because "we don't know how" ? I love a manual transmission. I do say that having my parents teach me was probably one of the worst...
  4. B6G members-made custom Bronco logos, badges, stickers thread - submit your work here

I'm no graphic designer but what about a stealie with a sasquatch? Or maybe some dancing sasquatch? My friends made fun of me telling me I couldn't hippie out my Bronco. Well its gonna happen anyway.
  5. Wildtrak - Isn't it Odd

I was just going to option out the outer banks but based on the numbers found here with everything I wanted it ended up only being $1000 ish dollars less than the Wildtracks. I don't know that I want to deal with putting on all the options just to have a dealership or buyer try to get it for...
  6. Yakima or Aftermarket Roof Rack? - Poll

I plan on getting the factory roof rack so. That i have it, I want a "exoskeleton" rack but ill see how much it bugs me to not be able to take the rear portion of the top off if I am using it and decide if I need an after market rack later.
  7. Manual Sasquatch or Auto Sasquatch?

I want the mansquatch but I've gotten used to driving my AT pretty quickly and my husband wants the 2.7L, "go big or go home" he said. So torn!
  8. Off roading with a manual transmission Bronco

this thread makes me so tempted to get the manual, but this will be my daily driver and I have heard people get annoyed with 6 speed and shifting. Does the extra gear really add that much more shifting? I'm hardly stuck in traffic anymore on my way to work so I don't think it would be that big...
  9. surfboard in a 2 door

I used to have cable reinforced padded straps, they worked great. I suppose it depends on how frequently boards get stolen in your area though. I would think a 6' short board would fit, it would be kind of cool if I could fit most of my 9'6" long board in there so I could go topless lol there...
  10. The Bike Thread

This is a photo of the fat bike I got so that I could do Bikejoring with my crazy German shorthaired pointer. Should be easier to fit both the dog and bike with the bronco. Hasn't been bad with my Civic hatchback though.
  11. Anyone interested in getting together for a New England purchase at a single dealer?

I have my reservation with Franklin Ford. They will accept x-plan and @MSRP ( no ADM) so not a deal like some of the offers at out of state dealers. They gave some one else strange answer previously, the only things I can think of are 1) either bronco requests are going to people who don't know...
  12. Dumbest reason you’re choosing a Bronco, particular trim, or option??

2 door wildtrax- because the dogs told me they want to go for topless car rides on the beach & the Wildtrax has everything the humans wanted.
  13. Video demonstration of rear seats folded down flat in 2 Door Bronco (from Bronco Super Celebration)

I was going to mention the SAAB 900, You absolutely get spoiled with the folding 2nd row in that vehicle. I have been looking for a car like that and noting has the style or functionality of that beast. Even though the seats in the Bronco aren't flat they are still better than many of the cars...
  14. Official Paint Samples / Swatches For 2021 Ford Bronco Have Arrived. Cactus Gray = Jet Fighter Gray

I like the antimatter blue, my husband wanted black but I find it boring and feel like you miss details. So antimatter blue gives more interest and reminds me of the 1994 accord I had which was a metallic teal. I have a 2017 civic hatchback and the Honda pearl gray is pretty much the cactus...
  15. My dealer said they (Ford) won't actually fulfill all the orders

This is one of my concerns but I am assuming that if the car is on order that finance would be willing to go over options with you prior to the car being on the lot. If they won't ill go to my bank and get a car loan on my own walk into my bank and get a loan, they are always advertising vehicle...
  16. Baby Seat may work better in 2 door Bronco than Jeep

I'm not quite sure about the baby seat specific issues but as a kid my parents never had any big SUV or mini van. They always drove a SAAB, the one we used the most was the 2 door SAAB 900 hatchback. We managed fine with my sister, the dog and myself in the back, with all our vacation gear packed...
  17. Which dealership are you using?

Thats a bummer, I guess we'll see how things go once it's time to place orders. If they give me a hard time I'll just cancel my reservation and maybe get one at a later date. It always amazes me when sales people give customers a hard time, like don't you want to make money
  18. Lightweight Overlanding Camper/trailers ideal for BRONCO

I was looking at the Bean trailers, love them. Seem perfect for what I want, but my husband likes the rooftop tents.
  19. Plug-in or Conventional Hybrid?

I was looking at the wrangler plug in before Ford announced the new Bronco, my SO was excited for the Branco so I decided we would get the Bronco and trade it in for the hybrid once it come out. Once I'm back in the office I can plug in for free there and cover my miles 2 and from work. The...
