  1. Electric HUMMER EV vs. Bronco

The Rivian does a lot of the same stuff, minus the 4 wheel steering maybe, and I think it's cheaper, has more range, and might be a bit smaller for better trail driving. I don't think we have the charging infrastructure in place yet, to make EVs viable for getting dirty out in the boonies.
  2. A possible new competitor for the Bronco's class?

Will they have mounts for a helluva lot of Rotopax batteries?
  3. Bronco Build & Price date

What ever. I don't need the thing right this minute. It'll give me time to save up a decent down payment.
  4. sasquatch on badlands really worth it?

I believe that the Trail turn assist is available on the non-squatched Badlands as long as you have the 10spd auto.
  5. Let's cut to the chase, who's modding?

I stayed stock for a time to shake down the new engine. After a few thousand miles with none of the previous motor's check engine lights, and none of the oil burning, I went with a safe tune with the full 3" Miltek exhaust. (quietest 3" exhaust I've heard). 50k trouble free miles later and it's...
  6. Let's cut to the chase, who's modding?

That's my preferred route. If you mod right away, you won't be able to appreciate the improvement over stock.
  7. Let's cut to the chase, who's modding?

I might go with Ford Performance tune if offered on my 2.7 Badlands. I'm still undecided if I'm going to Squatch it. I have a 2012 Subie STi on which I put a full exhaust/highflow cat and a tune. Then at 19k miles, the infamous ring land failure cyl 4 reared its ugly head. New block needed. I...

57, Retiring on Christmas Day. Happily single, no kids. I used to wheel a Chevy Z71 back in the 90's. Looking at this as a retirement adventure rig. Hoping to get into a bit of overlanding.
  10. Does the 2.7L Ecoboost require premium gas?

If it goes up enough, I guess it'd be worth it.
  11. Does the 2.7L Ecoboost require premium gas?

If your car is tuned for 91/93, then you need it. if not, you'd be wasting your $$ on the higher grade.

  15. What do all of us future Bronco owners do for a living?

So I just picked up a bottle of your Siesta Key Spiced Rum (the only Siesta Key they had) at a Wine and More in San Jose, CA. I have high expectations! Haha

  17. Video: Why The New Bronco Works And The New Blazer Doesn't

I mean, they're selling really well. I'm sure it's a great crossover for those that want that. It's just kind of sad when you think what could've been, had they also gone for the offroad/overland market.
