Dealerships can tell you if they can get it and if not if other dealerships have it in stock. My local dealership purchased a battery junction box for my Bronco (under warranty) from a dealership across the country because they weren't available to order from Ford directly.
I also used that...
Just had a friend do a 3" lift on a non-squatch 4 door Badlands and put 35's on factory wheels and they rub. Haven't confirmed but they likely rub the control arms and not the crash bars. Just sharing so you can plan accordingly. I believe it was a Fabtech kit.
Thanks. Edited my previous post. Mud/Rut mode does not automatically disconnect swaybar. I dont have that feature so indont know if you can manually disconnect it in that mode.
Were you both going roughly the same speed when shifting into Mud/Rut Mode? I believe there is a speed limiter for when it does/doesn’t disconnect swaybar.
I had very similar issue on the drive home from buying at the dealership. Mine is a 2.7L but I believe 2.3 and 2.7 are similar in what I'm describing. Mine was throwing fuel pump voltage and injector fault codes. This according to Ford's direction for testing ends with needing a battery...
Wanted to share an update. PCM arrived about 1pm yesterday and service manager was taking it for a road test by 2:30. Have put a little over 100 miles on it and everything seems to be operating as expected so far. Got the mail yesterday after bringing the Bronco home from its month in the shop...
Our test drive was only a couple of miles. It wasn't our first test drive of the day (different dealer). I do wish the Ford online database would keep track of all fault code history and not just start when it's listed as sold. The local service manager even said a similar thing. This "we don't...
Thanks to this site I read on here about checking the bolts that attach the battery junction box to the fuse block. I checked them before i drove it down to local dealer the first time to get looked at. I didn't check the battery terminal bolts.
The fuel pump relay and high-pressure injector...
Thank you for your thoughts. I do hope that I am just overreacting. Just wanting to be prepared if the PCM doesn't fix it as well. It's frustrating that Ford approves significant repairs for parts that aren't available and you have to be a super squeaky wheel to get them to help providing said...
Purchased a brand new '22 Big Bend Sasquatch 2.7l on 2/4 (Sat). Had 47 miles on it during test drive. On the 3 hr drive home from purchase at night it cut out on power twice for around 5 to 10 seconds about 20 miles apart and finally died on a narrow 2 lane highway about 20 minutes later at...
Quick update on mine. Ford approved PCM replacement on 2/20 but none available to order or get from other dealer. Went in to check on status and unknown to local dealership, Ford Corporate had closed my case without even approving the loaner vehicle for me or providing any assistance to the...
Bought a new '22 Big Bend 2 dr. Sasquatch with 2.7L on 2/4. Cut out on power twice for a few seconds about 30 minutes apart. Around 30 minutes later, it completely died going down the highway and had to coast to the shoulder. 3 or so attempts it refired and drove it home. All this on the 3 hr...
I guess I got lucky getting a brand new 2 dr. Big Bend Sasquatch for under $5k ADM 2 weeks ago. Of course the luck ran out when it died on the way home from the dealership.
Our Bronco died driving down the highway on the drive home from the dealership on 2/4 so I hope this nice loaner is just the beginning of "good will" efforts from Ford.
