I did the LOD brackets but only did one bolt through the frame in existing hole. Also cut the tow link portions (for flat towing) off the brackets.

It's actually a fairly easy swap. Just don't forget the intercooler brackets (or cut tow loops off) and different front bash plate.

Mine came with the plastic bumper and I swapped it with a capable bumper, frame horn braces and JCR winch mount. No issues at all. Already having the capable bumper installed should make it even easier.

The front bash plate (skid) is interchangeable with the capable and modular bumpers. I assume you have the metal bumper with the "d ring" style tow hooks. If so, the modular bumper will mount right up.

Just swapped standard bumper with capable bumper on Big Bend. Was able to get correct intercooler brackets with bumper purchase. Had to install wiring harness from original bumper for fog lights. The swap is very easy to do.
