why the heck is it out of warranty? I started complaining and documenting visits with the deal they day I got off the highway heading home from my 645 day wait for this thing and I have Ford ESP premium care and if the void my warranty I may end up on the news
I just want to point out again there is "road noise" and there is "wind noise"
Road noise from tires, other cars or just plain shit outside is fine.... it's the wind noise that I have a issue with. Drive at 65 mph and crack the windows 1/8" or 1/4" that's what I hear at 45+ all the time and if...
That is not acceptable at all. Mine is headed back in now that I have a contact and a case started at Ford ... they say they will work with the dealer to find a solution.
Like I said earlier some Broncos are not that bad and some are very bad.
Anyways mine will be fixed and will not have wind noise one way or another.
Also I have owned a old bronco when I was a kid and many wranglers over the years..... it's 2022 there is no excuse for this period.
Maybe some of you saying just live with it have not been in one that is like mine...
Some people order food and when it comes out wrong they just look at it and eat it, some people send it back and get what they asked and will pay for. Does not matter if it’s McDonald’s or a high end steakhouse….I don’t just eat it.
The windshield recall is not because the fly out 🧐 the windshield is a structural part of the vehicle and was not adhered correctly which could affect the strength in a crash or possibly a wind noise
your ok with 1/8 - 1/4" gaps in gaskets on a truck that cost 50K? it sounds like a hair dryer in mine. Some Broncos do not, I test drove 2 soft tops before I got mine that did not have wind noise.... In fact I have a 29 Ford roadster with no roof and I think it has less of a wind noise.
Not sure... my wife didn't hear a thing until I pointed it out. Again I have been in the auto business for years and I hear everything.
All I know is my 96 wrangler hard top rood sealed better and I have had corvettes and mustangs from the 80s with T Tops that also sealed better, you would...
Ya I know there is a lot of wind noise threads .... and a lot on how to DIY some things to help, but I will not accept it until there is a real fix for the issue. I just had to do this and know for myself so can bring the info to Ford and the Dealer. My dealer is a hour aways so it's a pain...
I have started a thread with my wind noise experience HERE if anyone is interested with up close pictures of air leaks that I have found and places to look if you have wind noise
