That's a Rek Gen. I think the longer version would be more effective at rock deflection but the slider steps really protect the body from rocks getting flung off the tires; they "tink" off the steps instead of "thunk" off the body!
Finally got off road! 8700 feet among the Eastern Sierra Aspens. Tried out all the 4 wheel modes and made use of the backup camera to bail out of some “situations“. Trail got tight; sides and MIC top earned some “vegetation stripes” but it all cleaned off with a wash and a bit of Lucas Slick Mist.
If I put put the selector on auto it stays there. If I put it in off the lights might come on unselected and that can occur any time even just getting in/out of it or when driving the vehicle. I thought I was going mad but I think there is an issue here.
My Basesquatch was built week of 5/9 along with many other similar builds. Some folks got their Broncos in a few days while some, like mine, had rail or trucking delays for a few weeks. Best of luck to you!
My base stereo sounds allright to me; I'm saving a bundle not upgrading it! I like being able to use CarPlay for my music and have had Sirius XM in my vehicles for years. Pretty decent electronics for a "Base".
