  1. JUST RELEASED: Stage Series Fog Pocket Kit for 2021 Ford Bronco! | Diode Dynamics

I just watched their factory tour, really impressive and worth a watch. This is the kind of investments R&D and Manufacturing I can get behind. I just ordered some fogs for my Taco while I'm waiting for my Bronco.
  2. Width question for narrow trails

I have the DeWalt 20V Max 12" mostly because it uses the same batteries as the electric lawn mower I have. Its way better than gas saws for off-roading/overlanding IMO. The biggest issue is it likes to drool oil. I like the smaller bar/total size, I'm not going to tackle a log larger than 24"...
  3. Width question for narrow trails

My 06 Tacoma is 74.6" and the bodywork is the first thing I am going to hit, A Sasquatched Bronco is 79.3" wide but assuming 6" fender flares the body is only 67.3" wide. So while I can't fit the Bronco thru the same gaps as the Tacoma it will be much easier in most cases because I I have more...
  4. Width question for narrow trails

I had this same question when the width of the Bronco was announced, in the PNW the rails are often tight. Comparing Wrangler Rubicon and Bronco Badlands that are both on 33" the JLU is 73.8" wide compared to a Badlands at 76.3" wide or 2.5" wider. This should carry over to the larger tire sizes...
  5. Adaptive cruise driving impressions?

I'm wondering the same, does anyone know of a video of the adaptive cruise control in action? Impressions and wither it has stop/start would be interesting as well.
  6. Received letter on Customer Satisfaction Program 21B49 - MIC Top Replacement

Ford's PR department needs a real world reality check. Do they think by adding extreme they make it sound better? Oxford defines extreme as " exceeding the ordinary, usual, or expected" so not extreme at all, just every day use. If I park my Bronco under a waterfall that would be extreme... Its...
  7. Rear view camera mirror

I am planning on using a rear view camera on my Bronco, I just picked this one up and used in our 4Runner for a road trip from Seattle to Lake Tahoe. We had so much cargo in the back that it would have blocked the rearview mirror. Over all I liked it, but this is compared to the compromised view...
  8. Jeep and Bronco owners, how does insurance costs compare?

My agent quoted me $10 a month more than my 06 Tacoma with the same coverage.
  9. 🏁 Acceleration Track Test : Bronco 2.7L and 2.3L versus Jeep Wrangler 3.6L [Car and Driver]

I came here to say this, and are we going to compare wither the Mustang or Corvette is a better at off-roading?
  10. Traction control vs lockers

Good summary by L8apex (nice user name). I like traction control such as Toyotas ATRAC, I can leave it on and the truck still turns well while traction control can get me tru most situations were the vehicle is cross weighted. @Spooled From my experience at the Off-Rodeo this is one of the few...
  11. JBL Sound Bar accessory review / impressions?

That is what I came here to say, I went to the Off-Rodeo and that was my impression. Rear visibility is similar to the Toyota FJ or the Wrangler, that is to say poor. Trying to look behind me to make sure the Bronco behind me saw the direction we ere going on the rail was tuff. My plan is to use...

    The PNW Bronco Group

That's what I had believed as well, then @jaspercasidino dropped some knowledge on us, check out this link. At the bottom it clearly lists vehicles as excluded from destination based sales tax if purchasing in state. I bought a 4runner about a year ago and didn't know that...
  13. Ford

I work for consumer electronics design consultancy, While I have no knowledge of what Ford ordered I can say that almost all of our customer are being hit by the shortages and had orders in place to cover what they need.
  14. More info on the factory accessory Trailer Brake Controller

Not just Fords, Toyota and most vehicles as well in my experience. Some full size trucks come with it I believe.
  15. More info on the factory accessory Trailer Brake Controller

I am really excited that Redarc is the factory solution! I use the Redarc for towing with my Tacoma and a ~2,500 lb trailer. I can say it makes a significant difference for me. My Tacoma is rated to 6,800 lbs but it also has rear drum brakes... Looking at the Ranger install guide I hope Bronco...
  16. Does tow package includes the trailer brake controller?

Wow, thanks! I'll bite... Where did you get this from?
  17. Does tow package includes the trailer brake controller?

I tow a Smittybilt Scout trailer with my Tacoma, its less than 2,500 lbs. fully loaded and adding the brake controller made a significant difference. My Tacoma Is rated to tow 6,700 lbs. which I really can't imagine doing. I use the Redarc Tow Pro Elite and highly recommend it. Its interesting...
  18. Answering the question: Do We Need The New Ford Bronco?

I like the content, I think its relevant and on topic. Need is subjective, and I would argue that few to almost no one needs a Wrangler, Bronco or 4Runner. You are solidly into the want camp with these vehicles. A healthy market has 2+ competitors, so even if it were a direct competitor to the...
