I missed the fact this heater is only a couple years old - makes a failed element/electrode unlikely. I’m betting the previous home owner may have turned down the thermostat or clicked it to “vacation “ mode when they moved out to minimize power bill.

When is it powered?: - ignition on? - door open? - auto off? I obviously don’t know when OEM is powered either.

That Grundfos unit is a recirculating pump that is supposed to keep hot water recirculating thru your pipes so you don’t have to wait for hot water to reach your shower, etc. Why it’s on a timer I don’t know. Doubt it’s the cause of lack of hot water but would first take it off the timer...

Here’s what I do to drive my wife crazy (SFW): My ‘01 F250 on my half-mile steep driveway….going down gauge goes to E and low fuel light comes on, going back up fuel gauge rises to 3/8 tank. “Look Dear, I’m making diesel fuel!”

How/where are you carrying the extra 14gallons?……VA to FL yesterday and had 5 fuel stops (BL 2.3 MT with RTT)…13MPG. ….OUCH

Didn’t say “won’t work”,……in my experience doesn’t work nearly as well on my upright windshields as opposed to angled windscreens, in MY experience. That’s why…..

Ahah! Getting the idea now!. The round sensors are NOT the ACC sensors! The black square box below the bumper is the ACC Having no license plate, I will try your suggestion of torquing up the winch plate a bit. Thanks for helping me see the light.

Still confused - are the sensors that were relocated from the bumper to the winch plate supports not the ACC sensors? The error messsge I get turns off the ACC

Not sure I understand ….the sensors are now mounted into the supports for the winch plate so how can the orientation between them be changed. And how does one switch from ACC to “regular cruise control”. thanks.

Nice install write-up. Thanks! My JCR install and use has been without issue, EXCEPT get an intermittent collision sensor obstruction alert that turns off cruise control - anyone else experienced that?

Prior to my installation of the GOBI rack, mine went thru such car washes a few times - spun off antenna, mirrors retracted -> no harm, no foul. Don’t believe the ‘21s had the sticker - anyone know what FOMOCO’s concern was/is?
