Sweet. I’ve had these on my S550 mustang for 5 years and they’re still great. And I use them a lot as I very frequently open hood to hook up trickle charger for battery.
I switched to soft top in mid May and got scheduled for a July 19 build soon after. Reserved 7/31 and converted to order in February. BL 4-door 2.7 & mid package.
Make sure to double check. My dealer responded to me a week ago that mine was built and on the way. When I asked him to double check it turns out he looked up the wrong VIN or the wrong customer. At least I didn't believe him so it didn't come as a surprise when it was not true :)
Wow ok, it seems like you should have sticker if yours has an actual ETA.
Do the trackers show yours as "In Production" or just "Order Confirmed"?
Calling my dealer now to get the latest from him in case he knows more than Ford CS team :)
I'm in similar boat:
- 5/27 Ford email that mine is scheduled the week of 7/19
- Based on calls to Ford CS each week my build week has not changed.
- The trackers (Fords and Bronco6g) still do not indicate "In Production"
- Still no window sticker but I check often
Agree. I’ve been wondering for a couple months we’re those Rigid pod lights went. Can’t find them except i guess I could get universal ones directly from Rigid. Perhaps I’ll call them.
:) Good point on wheel spin. Certainly some significant spinning in our case if muddy too but not high speed, which isn’t really possible on difficult trails where you don’t go much above 1-2 mph except between obstacles.
Maybe pics are given illusion of looking worse than they really are? Would like to have seen in person. My Jeep off-roading with BFGs was in rocky terrain with sharp rocks (e.g., AR, OK, KS and CO) on hardcore trails for several years where most guys had 35-37" tires and BFG or quality tires...
Doesn't seem normal. I've had 35" BFG MTs and MTRs on Jeeps for 20-25K miles, with numerous hardcore off-road trails on rocky difficult trails, and never saw anything even remotely close to this.
Switched on 5/10 once it became clear about the extent of MIC issues. Got email from Ford on 5/27 that I’m scheduled for production. I’m a 7/31/20 reservation so I feel fortunate. Build is in my signature.
I agree with you guys. You need less offset or wheel spacers with those factory BL wheels. I’m going with 305/70s which are 33.9”, but on 17x8 wheels with only 25mm offset, as I prefer not to use spacers.
Have had 7/19 build week since 5/27. Build date has jumped around within that week. My build is in my signature. 7/31 reservation and I changed from MIC to soft top the 2nd week of May.
Me too, except my truck isn't being made until July. I swear the tracker showed my last name previously but a couple days ago it stopped showing up (yes I check this damn thing at least once a day if not a few times!)
Sounds like MIC top builds are the ones with dates moving around more? I call Ford # twice a week and my build day is always the week of July 19 and has been for weeks. Hope it holds.
