The LEDs are independent so if you turn on amber DRL and then white, the white light will wash out the amber and it will just shine white.

I recommend making a small notch on the plastic cover to fit the wire. Look how flush they can sit.

Love the Photos and how it came out. What tool did you use to crimp the wires? Just asking for others on the forum to know. The one we use is slightly more expensive and ratchets until its fully crimped. I remember using the basic one for first batch. Hands were hurting :)

I also think its a bad idea because they are going to be too bright for road use without you being able to turn them off. You can get away with pointing a pair or 2 low without blinding other but technically theses lights are for "offroad use". The amber DRL can be tied in with the low beams but...

I will try to get some videos as well for comparison in the near future
