If you have 2.3L that is normal due to the vacuum boost. 2.7L has electric boost so no spongy feel. I went with 2.7L for this reason

I’m thinking I want to get an extension cable for the front camera and just buy an extra one so I can reconfigure front bumper equipment for off roading and just add the camera and plug it in. Anybody know the part number and cost? Would an aftermarket camera plug in and work?

I think what happens is mud cakes the alternator and it overheats. maybe we should carry this in the tool bag and hit the alternator with it right after a mud puddle to clean it up...

MY22 or MY23?

In retrospect I should have found a way to robustly hang it on a pair of wires before bolting the plate back up instead of removing them when I was done installing it

How is it connected with fuel lines and electrical harnesses? Did they come undone or did anything break?

I installed the OEM skid plate kit. The instructions have you support the tank, remove the straps and install the skid. The skid takes the place of the straps. Instructions actually said to throw the straps away. I have a spare set if anyone wants them

So we just found out today MY23 gets the digital temp knobs back… presumably MY22 didn’t get them to save microchips…. So.. wouldn’t it be effing rich if MY23 chip holds are because of this?

There is a place for this, they made the Bronco Sport, 3cyl Escape.. and shares zero “intended purpose” with the Bronco. Might as well go the other way. It could be a cool vehicle… specialized for overlanding and hauling. Remember the Ford Excursion?

Yep. Trail Turn assist was even useless, it just slid around didn’t give me any extra turning control. Totally dry day would have been different going up hills. The rock garden I would still avoid though.

Get something back from it, go see Dr. and chiropractor. You were injured even if it doesn’t seem like it right away. Make the other party’s insurance pay for that, especially if they were negligent
