Certainly not always.... First week reservation 2020 with Jan order, Oct MY22 roll over, still nothing...put in a second order end of November 21, some 15 months after that, both 2 door MIC top and the second order has a build date already.
It is like I been sitting in the lobby waiting to...
In this instance neither the Bronco Base nor Ranger have the optional lockers. My main 4WD interest is snow and while lockers would be nice, I've not needed them. What I really don't know is if the transfer cases allows the front and rear drive shafts to be at different speeds. If it does...
That is a thought. One reason I been feeling pressure to move in Jan/Feb this year is I can see not only car shortage continue but the inflation dam cracking so in 4 years the prices now could look positively juicy though they seem disgustingly high to me right now.
Sorry I didn't clarify that. Yes it was fixed, but with 3 times in 7 months with the other two being big hassle hard to continue without another vehcile.
With a first week reservation for a BD, Jan 21 order, Oct 22 rollover into MY22 still no word. I ordered a Base end of November 21 and that got scheduled today. Both are 2 door so MIC constraint. The BD have a tow package constraint...seriously can the tow package make that much difference...
Damn, life has just got interesting.
I've had a Manual Trans Black Diamond reservation going back July 2020 with conversion to order conversion in January 2021 and then a MY22 conversion in October 22 where I added squach package.
When I reserved, I had 4 vehicles in the stable and as I posted...
OPINION: I feel they need to maintain the illusion that there is a high probability of the driver getting charged for damage which is why even with their insurance there was still a substantial amount one would be liable for. If the insurance covered all but some small amount (like $100)...
I saw something like that once. Look at my pricing summary for one of my orders. This is for a 2 door black diamond, 7 speed manual, advanced 4x4 with tow, roof rails and squach.
I would be tempted to do it old school. Fill up the tank, reset the tripometer, run the full tank and then fill it up again. Divide the miles by the gallons it took to fill it up. If you reset the average, compare what that average says against what you compute. I don't know that I would...
Somehow this doesn't surprise me. I've noted in these many speed automatic transmissions the shift is very aggressive getting into higher gear and keeping RPM low. Conventional wisdom being low RPM equates to fuel economy, but I find to sustain speed in the higher gear (lower RPM) that it...
My question is how are you measuring fuel economy? And then would average elevation be different where you get lower economy? Same amount of hills on trips with different economy?
The difference you report is quite significant.
Mine looks very similar to what you got except mine is a black diamond, but also has hitch and roof rails. I am a first week reservation.... but I also am at a small-town dealer so allocation may kill me.
Nice, good to know they are building them. When I added squach to my manual 2 door I wondered if that would push it out till mid-year. This gives me hope.
One reason the link was asked for is that there is some automatic publishing of vehicles shipping to dealer and even customer orders show there. Thus it could mean nothing.
That said, do you have a signed sales agreement (signed by you and them with final pricing)? If not, there is no reason...
