Looks nice! I can't tell if you have a front camera - if so, how badly do these block it? I like the 3-light concept but am afraid it'll basically block the whole camera view (I have the same Ford brush guard and am almost resigned to putting a low-profile light bar in instead)
You may be onto something with the smelly rubber... I too have a weird smell in my year-old Bronco that's been there since day one. It's MUCH worse on hot days, where on cold days I barely notice it. I've tried an ozone generator and that really doesn't help. I've also changed my cabin...
Yes, mine are doing the same thing... I'm considering getting some model paint to touch it up - I'd rather not have to take the whole things off to spray paint them.
I'd love to see a pic or two if you don't mind - I agree that the lack of shadows is key, I don't need the tires lit up, I need the ground around them to be visible.
Hi bud - where did you mount the lights? Obviously not in the traditional wheel-well, I like your setup. I'm considering the MoriMoto rock lights and was thinking to do 12 (2 in each wheel, then one under each door) but your setup looks like 8 would be enough if you mount them on the frame...
Curious if anyone has added the rear SSV pods with Kicker 6.5"'s and noticed as big a difference in sound improvement with the B&O as the company says they bring...?
Bumping this one as well, my Bronco is a year old and has had a weird smell since I got it. I figured it needed off-gassing since it seems like it could be the leather, or some adhesive, or some material - but it really lingers and hasn't gone away. It's definitely worse if I leave the truck...
My Bronco is just about a year old and has an odd smell, as well - not as bad as rotting meat but rather, it smells like something is off-gassing but never clears up. It's not a new car smell, but something is off and I can't figure it out... I have the leather interior, I'm the only driver, I...
Thanks for the responses folks - I'm looking for something quite literally as I noted in my original post - I have a bad back so am not looking to go rock crawling but I do drive on quite a few back roads where extra lighting is really helpful. I like a lot of the Baja Designs options (and have...
Hi everyone -
I have a standard bumper and would love to upgrade it to the modular, specifically because I want to be able to:
- continue to mount my front license plate
- continue to use my front camera, collision/adaptive cruise control sensor, and front parking sensors
- upgrade to better...
Bumping this thread because I get this almost daily - I also haven't had Alexa work for me in months, I feel like it only worked for maybe 2 at the beginning and I know my plan *should* allow it.
Actually I disagree - aside from the "I'm glad it's not just me!" reassuring nature of this sort of thing, it's also an opportunity for people to help each other (example - the posts from people that didn't know you could have more than 2 pages of presets on the radio), and there's also the hope...
These for sure. Also:
- Ditch light switches that are too far away (would have been better on the steering wheel)
- Lack of an audible alarm with the blind spot monitor when using the turn signal
- rear cup holders that are too shallow
- hands-free mic is too close to the roof and callers hear...
KSP 1 1/2" spacers and finally pulled the trigger on a pair of RokBlokz front mudflaps. I was really debating a rooftop half-rack from Trailrax or JCR but am having a hard time understanding why, even at sale, they're twice the price of the Hooke Road ones on Amazon (which I can't bring myself...
These look good - I'd like to see some more pics but have seen your site, are they all in a "flood" pattern? Can you upload an install video?
Also, if you use an aux switch, can you also use them as DRL's?
I love the idea of ditch lights - I do however need to ask, as I consider what I want to put on my a pillars, can anyone please post how they look from inside the Bronco? I keep a Performance tune module attached on my dashboard lower left, and between that, the a pillar itself, and the...
