I completely 100% agree with everything you have stated, OP. I think Ford completely failed to deliver the Bronco the way it should have and the best excuse everyone has right now is Covid which is unfortunate. As someone here mentioned, I have looked around number plus times for other options...
With the email today, I am a little more sure that I will not be receiving my Bronco until at least 2022. With that being said, I am considering upgrading my trim from Base to Either Big Bend or Outer Banks, since now I know I will most likely have more time to save. Anyone else thinking the same?
As I've stated before, Billy Bob with $$$ is going to be riding in a Bronco that he bought from a dealership for 70k while committed RESERVATION holders (some may have already sold a vehicle to be ready for a Bronco) are possibly waiting another year to get theirs.
And all Ford offers is a...
I surely hope majority of reservation holders receive their Broncos before dealerships begin to sell in-house. I would definitely be a bit salty having Jimmy pull up in one saying he bought it at so and so dealership in September when there are still thousands of individuals waiting on theirs to...
My discount tire store said they could look into it once I receive my bronco and honestly I will let them do the work. I want to avoid trimming, but if it has to be done because I want my ride to look beefier, then I will go that route. Still thinking that 275/70R16 should be a safe bet
Nice, were getting really close to the time where im sure many will be receiving theirs and doing reviews online. Personally I am awaiting on someone with a base to do one.
Thanks for nothing, Ford! I think everyone in these forums kind of knew everything that was described in the email. Not even any glimmer of hope for those that did NOT get their emails
Feel like they will definitely offer another incentive and apologize to those that have not received their email with some sort of excuse to cover for their suppliers.
Honestly, I am not expecting anything promising- and probably something along the lines that there will be more emails sent...
I spoke to a Bronco rep at my dealer a week ago about this and she stated that Ford has not said otherwise, so we "should" be getting our emails before month end. I just don't expect my build date to be until at least Q3 or later :/
So question, and maybe it was already answered here, but with the email that I received in April stating that all orders should know their tentative build date in May (dont quote me) was all BS? We literally have 2 weeks remaining in May.
Im on the same boat brother. Aside from my current Fusion Ive always had base- rented a Jeep last summer for a week and loved it enough to say Im sticking with Ford and pre-ordering a Bronco
So I understand that there is a thread on this- after looking there I am not sure if I got a clear answer on it. For the Base bronco group that comes with a 16x7 wheel size- what would be a tire that one could get right away to exchange the 30's that it is sitting on- would 275/70R16s fit...
Shes a beauty! Cant wait until someone posts a video of the base model at least reviewing it. The only thing I am changing once I get it is a size up (32s) for the tires, otherwise, I cannot wait!
