I'll run my KO2's for a while, they'll be plenty capable for my fancy new rig, and probably keep me from doing things I'd regret. I have my FJ40 trail rig to do the real fun stuff with. Once it's time for new rubber, I'll probably upsize a bit and get Cooper STT Pros.
Maybe it's the region, because I've heard others that hate the Dura trac, but up here in the PNW, it's fantastic for a DD/weekend warrior, camper towing tire.
My 2015 3500 HD Silverado has/had the Onstar app where you could unlock/lock and remote start from the app. It was amazing, until it was no longer free. After 5 years, they make you pay for that service though Onstar at $20/month. No thanks, love it, but really didn't use it enough to justify...
This was my '72 Bronco Sport, sold it in college for the wrong reasons. Wish I could have it back someday. Don't know if it's still around, but friends had seen it around Cle Elum in the past.
I can't confirm 4A "starts" in 4WD in these. But when I had 4A in my 1/2 ton Chevys, pulling out into traffic in the rain was awesome, and very handy in the PNW. It would start in 2WD, and kick into 4 without the driver ever feeling a slip. Probably the biggest thing/only thing I miss from the...
For those who are going to use their low range, the advanced 4WD system transfer case has a better reduction of 3.06:1 versus the Standard part time 4WD which has a reduction of 2.72:1. Something to keep in mind.
So I'll say this, which heavily influenced my decision for my Badlands. I've owned 8 Manuals and 6 Autos over the years. All but one manual I've had, I wish I could have back. And for the Autos, there's only one I miss. So even though I longed for the 2.7, no slushbox for me on this one. I'm...
Just remember that the biggest piece that is blocking the view is the control pack on the Xeon 10-S. It can be mounted elsewhere (i.e under hood), this doesn't completely remove it from the front camera view, but worth keeping in mind.
I didn't add it as an accessory in my order because I'm...
I went with the optional wheels and KO2's on my BL order. The Mudders look good and all, but not worth the extra $$ for a special tire with the Wrangler deleted on the sidewall. The Territory's are going to be real close to the KO2's in price from a retailer, but they are new and not much for...
I have a flash drive that I've ripped a bunch of my cd's onto that I keep plugged into my rig. Including some of my favorite wheeling mixes that are in their own folders. That way when you are out where there is no signal for spotify and the mountains are too steep and the trees too thick for...
I have the Harken hoist in the shop for the wife's jeep, and it is awesome. I hoist the top up into the rafters and it's out of the way. Only problem it it needs some weight to come back down when there is no hardtop on the hoist. So I just throw her soft top on a sheet of plywood and hoist that...
This was my ‘72, I had in high school. I survived cancer with this rig, it wasn’t perfect, but it was mine and sold it for the wrong reasons and have kicked myself everyday.
