You'll be fine with that top. It's the MIC (molded in colour) tops that have the issues.

Once the MIC tops have been around a few years and warranties are not covering them any longer the delamination will open up the core to water. Leaks will be inevitable because these tops are fabricated from corrugated cardboard and you know what happens to cardboard once it gets wet.
