  1. I can't find my actual keys, all I have are my fobs.

My dealership wanted ~$100 for cutting a physical key (didn't include the fob). I bought two spare keys off of ebay for ~$14 (for both) and had the local hardware store cut them for $25 each (I had my key for them to copy).
  2. Recommendation for Adding Lighting to Brighten Roads?

I know I'm old but I don't understand how the National Highway Traffic Administration allows the small projection LED headlights used more on 'premium' cars and SUVs and many trucks. My eyesight isn't what it used to be but I find it very difficult to drive against many (most) of the new car...
  3. Recommendation for Adding Lighting to Brighten Roads?

I went with a similar setup with DD but SAE SS3 fogs, SS2 Driving and SSS2 Combination in the Modular Bumper pockets with SS3 Combination(?) on the A Pillar all Sport with amber backlight. I bought them from Panda Motorworks. Panda and DD are only about 10 miles from me so a logical choice. I...
  4. Recommendation for Adding Lighting to Brighten Roads?

E-mail me with your address and I'll send you one. If you like it, pay me what you think it's worth to you.
  5. Recommendation for Adding Lighting to Brighten Roads?

I designed and modeled this in Fusion 360 which I export via .3mf to Bambu Studio. Prusa Slicer should be able to import 3mf files as well. The .3mf files have more information than .stl including scaling and color information. I'm filing a patent on this but might be able to work something...
  6. Recommendation for Adding Lighting to Brighten Roads?

I thought I posted a response but it doesn't seem to show. Anyway, I have 3" amber Fogs, 2x3" Driving, and 2x3" combination all the 'sport' levels with an amber backlight. I also have 3" ditch lights with amber backlight. Mine are all tied into the upfitter switches with a really nice wiring...
  7. Recommendation for Adding Lighting to Brighten Roads?

Sport version. I bought the lights through Panda Motorworks. It came with 6 lights (2 3" amber fogs, 2 (2x3"?) driving and 2 (2x3") combination lights) and a wiring harness specifically for the upfitter switches. You can pick whatever lighting combination you want. It fit very well. I ended...
  8. Recommendation for Adding Lighting to Brighten Roads?

I have the modular bumper and installed Diode Dynamics driving lights and amber fog lights (SAE conforming fogs). The only ones 'legal' on the road are the SAE fog lights. The amber fog lights really help the visibility to the sides and fill in the gaps below the OEM headlights and I can run...
  9. Saw in the wild today

I caught this Bronco in the fall of 2024 waiting for the Ferry at Friday Harbor, San Juan Islands Washington State.
  10. Hitch clearance from spare with 285/75/17

On my '22 Black Diamond non-sas (265/70-17), I use a 4" drop receiver tube for my Thule Bicycle rack. The tailgate will open with the bicycle rack tilted down (no bicycles of course) and the rack folds up behind the tire. https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/CURT/C59KR.html It extends...
  11. Cactus Gray anyone?

Not fancy but well traveled. Astoria Oregon/Mouth of the Columbia River, Potash Road/Moab, Great Basin National Park/Nevada
  12. A, B, or C cup?

I see similar tread wear on my '22 (7MT) non-sasquatch Black Diamond at 33,000 miles (General Grabber AT, 265/70-17), rotation about every 5k miles. Alignment is good and it tracks straight. Mine have more tread than yours but wear pattern is similar. I just assumed it was normal for this...
  13. Disable airbags for off-roading?

Very late follow-up but are the air bags disabled or 'desensitized' when in 4 low or some of the GOAT modes? Just wondering.
  14. Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin?

I use a master locking hitch pin and an anti-rattle device from e-trailer.com on the bicycle rack. The anti-rattle device is not quick on-off (although there is a Curt brand one that doesn't require tools) but it really tightens the bike rack/hitch. I use the same thing on my motorhome tow bar...
  15. Problems with installing tail lamps

I have a parts container with a wide variety of these plastic 'push pin' type fasteners, 'Christmas Trees' and wiring zip ties for Ford and Honda. Cheap if you get the correct ones on Amazon.
  16. Problems with installing tail lamps

If all else fails, just drill the center screw out with ~1/8" drill bit. Once the head falls off you can push the rest of the plastic 'screw' through. Then pop the remaining plastic pieces out with the previously mentioned upholstery removal tool. These are pseudo fasteners and one time use...
  17. Does 1" require reprogramming?

I might be halucinating but I thought the Badlands came stock with the 285/70 -17 tires (at least in '22, the year of my Black Diamond). Or maybe I'm having a senior moment. My Black Diamond came with 265/70-17 and I'll be going to the 285/70-17 which is as wide as I can go on the stock 7.5"...
  18. 4-banger spark plug swap: Best $50 noise reduction ever!

Mine seems to idle pretty smoothly. ('22 with ~33k miles). Changing the plugs smoothed it out and reduced the noise?
  19. Options for additional lights for turning - Can't see when making 90 degree turns at night.

I have the DD SAE amber fogs (3") in the centermost position modular bumper cutout as well. They work great and the amber complements the blue-biased Bronco headlights.
  20. Engine firewall bolt size

M6. I just installed the Mabett vacuum line support on those very studs and it was a standard M6x1.0 nut.
