PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR ORDER IS NOT CANCELED! You cannot cancel an order in WBDO once it has a build date and is in transit. That is not how the system works, NOBODY has the ability to do this other than Ford Motor themselves. Even a Zone Rep cannot override this.
They're telling you it is...
I understand that we are attempting to see how dealer-to-dealer allocation works, but Ford does penalize dealerships for non-name matched orders. Will your 1 order affect them, probably not, but let's not make a trend out of this please. I'd let go over that order and ask them to cancel it.
I...
By that I mean, if we put in orders, they will most likely get selected this year eventually. Not that I could just load my system indefinitely with orders - but we just pace our allocations.
We are an A/Z Plan or MSRP dealership. We give buyers orders now because of all the current dealer...
Honestly, more than what we will probably order. We have a good amount of executive allocations(these don't soak up our main allocation) from being in Southeast Michigan and being in the top 30 of over 3000 dealers helps as well.
Yes, when Ford changed the conversion ratio from 2021 to 2022, it basically made the dealers that hosed the market with requesting orders... pointless. We probably put 25 orders a week for the Bronco... We are a top 30 store but just paced ourselves the best we could
I feel for those who went...
I get while you are angry, and I'm not happy about how Ford does it either, but sadly - if your dealer isn't a high volume dealership... they just don't get the same allocation formula. It sucks
We had an awesome week of scheduling, all 21 Broncos that previewed yesterday, scheduled today for build weeks February - March!
Here is the list, if you're ordered at Avis Ford and lurking in the forums, CONGRATS!!!
131A E5A - 2 DOOR Cactus Gray Big Bend 222a hard top
163A E5A - 2 DOOR...
I never got the VIN  lol... I do wish Ford was quicker on telling dealers and customers when these things happen. It is sad, but honestly would you have rather had your Bronco pop up out of nowhere(and never knowing what actually happened). Hopefully you get your next Bronco quickly
This is not against the OP, but I am finding lots of posts that are just going straight to blaming the dealers... not to say dealers are perfect, and a lot of time it is at the fault of the dealer... but Ford Motor cannot just sell your vehicle to someone else, plus mistakes happen and vehicles...
Please do not put your winch between your trail sights or use your trail sights to be pulled out of a spot - unless you have a new fiberglass hood coming in
Well actually, a Dealer Fee is anything that a dealer defines as a fee. It is also bound by the State laws that are put into place, alongside the Dealer Association and Legal Mumbo-Jumbo with Ford that all dealers must agree to before being able to operate as a Ford dealership.
I am not a legal...
This is sad to see. Sadly though, if you don't have a buyers order and a dealer agreement with your signature and theirs - there is honestly nothing you can do, unless Ford intervenes. I'll happily take your order at MSRP or A/Z, but I know that doesn't do you any good now
EDIT: Please do not...
This would be a great business/dealership opportunity for our Bronco customers who don't want to settle with the soft top. They would have this as an aftermarket opportunity, they can lose the hardtop and get their Bronco faster from the factory while having this being installed at my dealership...
There is a bunch of options you can add to give yourself some more storage in back and molle system.
My gripes are: cup holders... I have to use the kids carseat cup holders some times , my knees hit the headlamp selector all the time, but that is more a personal issue I think, and I don't...
