What you guys are saying is true for most vehicles.. vehicles that aren’t made with a modular roof. I work for a manufacturing plant. I’ve seen what happens to vehicles that have been sitting for only months, not years, with leaks. When water gets inside, and these vehicles aren’t being aired...
Nope, we will be pushed back to December if not MY22. Day 1 reservation for me and literally the only constraint to my build is the MIC top. I ordered a badlands 2.3l manual, non sas, high package. No tow or brush guard. @Ford Motor Company is literally screwing over first day reservations by...
I’m in the exact same boat you are. Same build week and everything. I am going to try and talk to my dealer about switching, but I doubt they will unless Ford approves it.
They don’t want to pay to ship roofs to everyone, it would be a lot of money out of their pocket. I don’t agree with it, but I guarantee it’s logistics based. @Ford Motor Company would save grace with a lot of customers if they offered the soft top with hard top connections to those who are...
This this this. Why can’t the option to switch to soft top be offered even with a vin but not built bronco? The reason I ordered an MIC was there was no connections for the MIC with the soft top originally. Only after I received my VIN were the connections offered. Now we will have to wait till...
@Ford Motor Company let me change from an MIC to a soft top. Just because I have a VIN doesnt mean I should be pushed to the end of the line if I’m willing to take a soft top. I got my VIN before the news about the hard top connections.. fix this
But did your car leak water inside to to a bad top? Without the doors being opened and aired out after a rain, it will mold inside. I’ve done warranty work on trucks for that exact reason.. leaking cabs on trucks that were sitting outside for a few months.. we had to replace the majority of the...
8/30 for me too fellas. Been moved a couple times as well.. 2.3L manual, 4 door badlands, non sas high package w/ optional wheels.. I was hoping with mine being a manual it would be built sooner but guess not!
Well just saw a thread that someone was able to put 35’s with a +55 ranger wheel on a 4 door base bronco.. he removed the crash bars and said there is no rub. Only in extreme off roading would he think any running would occur. This has me thinking there should be no problem for a badlands even...
Can’t wait for an update. I have a build date for the week of 8/16 4 door manual badlands non sas. I order the zone off-road 1 inch level lift as well. I’m debating on trading for sas wheels and tires with some cash on my end or going aftermarket but wouldn’t want any more tire to poke out than...
I work for a semi truck production plant and we are having the same issue. We are sending these trucks with missing modules and label them as “ship-short” items. Most of ours consist of door modules (window switch and door lock), instrument clusters, and some vecu’s. We’ve had many many harness...
