Love driving manuals but for the new Bronco you have to give up far too many benefits that come with the auto. At least my 66 is a stick so I at least can throw a few gears.
Leveling the load does shift weight off the tonge of the hitch and back to the trailer. This will make it safer as well. Legally Iām not sure but safer to drive. Hell yeah. Wonāt stress the rear drive axle tires as much either. I know the reality of the Bronco being made for off-road use kills...
Does anyone know of any upgrades to suspension to increase towing capacity? After all this 2.7 and ten speed are virtually the same as the F-150. I know itās an off-road suspension that limits towing but 3500 lbs aināt nothing.
Maybe I should qualify more. more power better and I will not put an aftermarket exhaust on the 2.7. Heard a few and not an exhaust note I care for. Also noticed your local, I believe you just might have a lot more room to enjoy that Bronco than I. Not much for off-roading around here.
I beg to defer, test drove a Ranger to get a feel for the drivetrain. Could definitely hear that motor. 2.7 in full size trucks admittedly donāt sound great but a little better than the four. I wish it could have the coyote though.
I have one that came with my 66 but not sure if I want to mount it or just leave it in the shop to sit on while I stare at the ole Bronco and someday itās new counterpart.
Sweet, does that mean only the smallest motor possible and a three on the tree? may we can get that pto option to run a post hole auger. Oh yeh, no interior but seats?
Thatās the one. i believe there is one south of Knoxville as well. Still have plenty of time to research where to go since there are about 140,000 reservations ahead of me.
The Badlands with 33ās are still large and itās very capable without 35ās. in my opinion most of the other models the tires just look out of proportion to the vehicle. Of course there is always aftermarket but Ford does put appropriate gearing for tires size.
