I've got nearly 6k miles on the 'D' synchros now, still silent and shifting nicely. Its getting colder here with a couple mornings just below 40F and it's still quiet on those cold starts so far too.

Sliding windows or even pop out ones would be amazing. With the frameless windows on the doors there really aren't great options for venting while camping in the back. Removable windows would open up possibilities for maybe replacing a window with something vented, not to mention just taking...

For what it's worth on the trans concern... I have an April '22 badlands with the 7mt and had the TSB performed on my "AA" trans earlier this year at 5800 miles and it's still completely silent and smooth at 8500 now. I wouldn't shy away from it on that reason alone if it were me.

If I was still in the market and that configuration was truly valid that's probably what I would buy. It is interesting that adding SAS to that combo makes it 3.5k more than a nearly identical spec (lose MGV, add tailgate table and mod top) 4-door heritage

Unless it's a glitch it looks like its working to have 7mt/mid on a big bend, not working on the black diamond. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a glitch allowing it on the big bend.
