Decided to try ford chat just for the fun of it. They were able to tell me my vehicle is awaiting shipment and has estimated delivery of 5/7-5/13⦠so at least on their end itās showing some sort of time frame!
The tear tag is a code that has so do with programming your PCM.
Basically the receiving of a tear tag signals that all of your modules have populated and the vehicle has been ābuiltā.
You can find the tear tag by going to
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt and you should have a 4...
Interesting, my tear tag came after the modules populated. Could just be the site being slow to update. Which, given the tracking process in general, would not be surprising. Once your modules come online, they will all be listed and "End of information G" will be pushed to the end of the list...
Here is the link to the Ford site that tells you if your modules have been turned on. Basically, lets you know that the computer systems of your vehicle have been turned on and your vehicle is built. Generally, mods will populate a bit before the tear tag number shows up...

Received my ābuiltā status overnight! No delivery ETA on ford tracker. I never had a reservation ID so canāt use the other link. Guess Iāll just have to wait and see when it shows up!
I was 599/916 build for yesterday 4/17. My modules didn't start showing up until like 10 or 11pm... but I am on west coast time so that would be the wee hours of the 18th at the factory. Still no ābuiltā update for me either.
Well, no tracker update or mods popping for me. Hopefully the "blend" occurred today at least. Guess I have another day of refreshing various web pages to look forward to tomorrow! :ROFLMAO:
The number is on the top right of your window sticker along the border. Just to the left of a QR code. It will say something like 123/999. It's the number in line you are for that specific blend date.
