It won’t work because Ford Credit only lets the person leasing the vehicle buy it. So you have to buy it, and pay taxes, in order to trade it in. I just bought my leased Ranger. I was hoping on extending the lease and just trading it in when my Bronco showed up.
That’s not what we use or other credit unions I talk to use. New car loans underwriting is done at MSRP. You establish value with the window sticker or purchase agreement. Then you’ll probably go above that value for sales tax and such.
Also, not using the window sticker or purchase agreement for new car loan underwriting and trusting a separate calculation or third party source is unbelievably stupid.
They should be using the purchase agreement/window sticker to establish value. They are either using BS values or putting something in wrong in the system that generates values. If they are using NADA and not stacking options, they could have a problem because NADA doesn’t have Bronco sales data...
As someone who works at a credit union, I’d tell you not to use a HELOC for a car purchase when rates on auto loans right now. Our HELOC has a 1.99% promotional rate but then it goes to a floor of 4.5%. Meanwhile, we’ll do a 120 month auto loan at 4.5%. 12-84 months are 1.99% to 3.25% for the...
It’s what happens when a man and a woman love each other very much and engage in an act called “purchasing a new Ford Bronco”. Both are left unsatisfied and end their relationship.
Am I happy the manual is the same price? No. Do i understand why? Yes. There is a very specific buyer that wants this vehicle. And once they get through the reservation holders, this configuration will cease to exist. It effectively gets an extra $7000 out of a bunch of Base reservation...
Yeah. I can confirm it. It's $6590 for the Sasquatch package on a base 2 door manual. The 4A ups the vehicle price to $30,095. You are then at $36,685 without any options or destination.
You get 4A with the 7 speed and Sasquatch.
I am kicking around the idea of going to the 2.7/AT, but I'll probably keep my basemansquatch order as is. It's everything I want in a Bronco.
