  1. CAI Popping after install

Nothing is going to eliminate the sound you are hearing, other than putting the stock intake back on. A VTA valve may make it worse, as you’re getting rid of metered air and temporarily richening the mixture. By how much? Probably not a lot, but it’s not beneficial. A VTA valve may be loud...
  2. CAI Popping after install

I’m hearing an after fire/backfire pop in that video as well, which is what I think the OP is wondering about. The 2.3 loves to pop and burble and as others have said, the factory intake is designed to muffle any noises from the turbo/engine. I deem it normal.
  3. 2021 Bronco Base DIED WHILE DRIVING today

It would roll away while in ā€œparkā€. They’d figure it out šŸ˜‚ As far as I know, autos don’t actually go in to ā€œparkā€ while at speed. That would be silly. The shifter will go in to ā€œparkā€, but the pawl isn’t going to engage.
  4. Anyone else having too many issues?

    Did you get her digits?
  5. Where to obtain oil/engine temperature; how hot before driving?

How recent is that screenshot? Idling is not good for an engine either. Plenty of proof of that too. Beating on a cold engine, especially forced induction, is a great way to blow a head gasket.
  6. Liqui Moly Engine Flush

I believe the dealer saw a small water stain in the air box and denied it. He did have a flush done, then spun a bearing or two I believe A flush is meant for severely neglected engines that don’t get regular oil changes. Even then, I’d be cautious. It can loosen up sludge that’s in a ā€œsafeā€...
  7. Liqui Moly Engine Flush

You started a thread about a well known product that has plenty of information on it. You’re supposed to use it, spin a bearing, then come start a thread about it.
  8. DTC P0420 - Check Engine Light for Catalytic Converter

Any time I’ve had a cat efficiency code, it’s caused by an o2 sensor failing.
  9. Bronco

Absolutely. It’s about what gear you pick. Pop the clutch in second or third while free rolling and the engine will turn rather than lock tires and stop like it may do in first.
  10. Bronco

A lot of newer vehicles cut throttle if you press the gas and the brake at the same time. It’s to prevent old people from hitting both at the same time and ramming straight in to a McDonald’s. That’s my thought at least.
  11. Bronco

Damn, that sucks. I’ve hopped in mine, thrown it in neutral and rolled it down the driveway without starting it. I’ve done this with many other manual trans vehicles and the Bronco is bad at stopping with no vacuum. Whether throwing it in gear and letting the clutch out would have stopped you...
  12. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

The transmission is bolted to the engine, so, yeah.
  13. HVAC intake, mouse proof?

I’ve had them make a nest on top of the cabin filter. Luckily the cabin filter takes two seconds to check.
  14. 2.7l and 10 speed reliabilty, turbos shot at 40k

Aren’t the 2.7s in the f150s known to have issues caused by the turbo oil feed screens?
  15. How much WHP from your tuned / modified 2.3?

Well, yeah. You can’t compare results from different dynos. Even the same dyno on a different day will vary. The first run it made 470 tq. on the same dyno.
