That was my question, too. Real bummer. My Kimber full size 1911 is 8.7" in length. Vault height is 8". I'll try it when I get mine next week but doesn't sound like it's going to work. Maybe time for that G29 I've been thinking about... 🤔

Has anyone been able to order the tow hitch from their dealers since the last time this was discussed in January?

Sorry for the n00b question, but if I only want the hitch for the purposes of carrying a bike rack, what options are available to me? My dealer doesn't seem to have a way to order the tow hitch for my FE... (Same question about the roof rails, too, fwiw)

So, my FE is getting built today, but it won't include the tow hitch or the roof rack bars due to GVW reasons, already discussed on this forum ad nauseum. But what I haven't seen is how to actually get our hands on these parts for self install. Has anyone's dealer been able to order these parts...

That seems aligned with what I've seen. The build date WEEK for me was pushed from 6/7 to 6/21 and ON 6/17 I got a window sticker with a 6/23 "blend" date. Wednesday/Thursday I'm hoping to get a delivery window.

I think that means it hasn't reached the production queue yet. Keep checking for a window sticker, that's the sign it's hit the parts allocation and in queue (which will also show your production date, as I showed before). Sorry man!

Do you have a window sticker? Post whats shown above the word "Blend" at the top. The last 8 digits are the expected build date. In the above example, mine is 6/23.
