  1. Dash rail accessory

M2M has one that I've debated buying, but haven't really bothered to do so. Actually they have two, a large one and a small one.
  2. Please Help Explain My Order…… Thanks!

The link above takes you to the site you can enter your VIN (which if you have a production date you should have). There is another link floating around on this and other sites that actually take you to FordDirect (which is what the site above is actually linking to), and if the window sticker...
  3. Please Help Explain My Order…… Thanks!

So your original production scheduled date is an estimate. That's all it ever is. So what happened when I ordered my truck, I was given an estimated production date. It switched to 'In Production' about two weeks early, but then a day or two later went back to 'scheduled' with an even later...
  4. Window Switches on Doors - Relocate / Duplicate - 2 Door

Same here - I knew going in that the 2dr wouldn't have the fuel tank size, I was a bit surprised at the lack of aftermarket stuff but it is what it is when you buy a niche vehicle. And the rear seat access is lousy...but that was the POINT of us getting it, since it was purchased with our son...
  5. Software Updates will not turn on

Hold the power button and the RIGHT arrow button at the same time, while the vehicle is on. Doesn't have to be running.
  6. Software Updates will not turn on

Sounds like you've got a software issue that is preventing it from turning on. A 'soft reboot' may fix it but likely won't, you may need to take it in and have them force-install any and all updates. This likely has the best chance of turning them on.
  7. Window Switches on Doors - Relocate / Duplicate - 2 Door

Because they're 'FORWARD' in the vehicle, so you know without looking down that the switch most toward the front of the vehicle is the front windows. That's it, that's why they're like that. It matches the same layout as vehicles who have the switch in the door. Forward switches are front...
  8. Window Switches on Doors - Relocate / Duplicate - 2 Door

They put the switches in the same spot between 2 and 4 door for commonality between the models.
  9. Car wash etiquette please

I've had good luck using some of the higher-end washer fluids that claim to be formulated to remove tough bugs...but June Bugs are no joke and put up a fight. When it comes to those, nothing beats elbow grease.
  10. Window Switches on Doors - Relocate / Duplicate - 2 Door

Yep, this right here is a big reason why. If you've got the front doors off but leave the rears on, if the switches were in the doors you'd lose control of the rear windows. It is a minuscule amount but not having the switches in the doors also reduces door weight, which makes them easier to...
  11. 2025 badlands B&O system VS 2024 B&O system

I have honestly never really understood the need for a 'killer' sound system in a vehicle. A decent one, sure, but one with absolutely crystal clear output, and bass that will rattle the mirrors out of alignment? Other than proving you 'can' what really is the point? The B&O in the wife's...
  12. Car wash etiquette please

A bit of apples and oranges there. Our teeth aren't painted.
  13. Towing recommendations/solutions?

I refuse to buy an SUV or truck without a receiver on it, and prefer to go with the factory wiring systems. When we got our Bronco, I was glad to see it came with the factory tow package, even if it didn't add cooling capacity. Here's why: - the factory receiver, even if you never tow, is a...
  14. ACC and pre-collision not working

Oh for sure, snow/ice buildup can cause issues - it does on my wife's expedition during the winter. Makes me HATE driving it, because I use my cruise control religiously. Lane keeping/collision avoidance I can do without, I can do without ADAPTIVE cruise, but shutting the whole system down is...
  15. ACC and pre-collision not working

I was just going to say, you might need to have someone with a scan tool go in and re-adjust the calibration on it. It's the most likely cause since it's no longer in the factory location.
  16. 30,000 mile tire wear analysis General Grabber ATX

General Grabber ATX's are, in my opinion, some of the best tires on the market for AT tires. I've been using them (General Grabber AT's) since the AT2's were available, and they have had great grip in all environments/surface composition, and yet are pretty forgiving - you can go +/- about half...
  17. Towing recommendations/solutions?

You could look on etrailer.com to see what's available... But the most seamless installation will be the OEM parts or OEM-compliant parts (some vendors have developed stuff that functions just like OEM). The hitch bolts right on (you do have to remove the rear bumper and replace it IIRC but...
  18. Bye bye privacy!!!

This right here. My company has HUNDREDS of patents related to the foundry industry, and the vast majority of them are never used. I suspect this is the same kind of thing - yeah, we developed an idea for something, doesn't mean we're gonna use it, but if someone comes out with something similar...
  19. $8/mo for connected Nav is too much.

Waze uses a LOT of data, because it is constantly updating locations of other users. Apple Maps IIRC is actually powered by Google Maps (or was, much like Apple Weather is/was powered by WeatherChannel), so if you find an issue with Apple Maps you can report it to Google Maps and it'll get...
