@CarGuy - where did you put those Hertz 6.5’s ? In the kick panels or are for those out back in the pods ? Also do you have the factory B&O amp ?

@hilmerdm - my advise from personal experience - do the sub first and I think you’ll find the kick panel speakers become a non issue. The Memphis don’t have as much low punch or bass as the OEM B&O kick panel speakers. It would be the last thing I would do - if you do them at all.

I should have been more specific - I found if you faded to full rear with the Bronco with the factory B&O, it didn’t sound great at all. Even with upgraded speakers, full fade is not strong at all. At least to my ears, it could be much better. Granted I did this when I first installed my Hertz...

I would use the Hertz or the Infinity’s in your rear pods. Also if you put full fade to the rear with any speaker, it will sound poor

@justinp72 - the big advantage to the Plug N Play harness is you pick up your signal for the subwoofer before the signal hits the B&O amp/DSP and therefore you remove the factory bass volume roll off. I would strongly recommend it - plus Joe makes it to connect directly to the Kicker or Musway...

The Hertz or the Infinity’s can handle being powered by external amps - including the Mobridge. The Hertz can take 30RMS or 60 watts peak - that’s a lot for a little 4 inch speaker. The infinity’s can take 35 RMS. Either would sound great with dedicated amps if you decided to scrap the B&O Amp...

@TerryB - I have read elsewhere that the Hertz c165l speakers have "veins" in the material which looks like what you are showing. Did you remove all the tabs from inside the Metra speaker mounts ? I know I had to remove all the inner tabs when I installed my Memphis 6.5's in the Kick Panels...

The Memphis have spring loaded speaker connections - no spades required :cool:
