I wouldn't try that, the Kilmat has a pretty tacky surface but it isn't that tacky to conform to the carpeted panels. I would guess the liner would have to be removed, and the panels cleaned as best as possible. Then I would probably opt myself for a new factory liner, or you could use some 3M...
So the Kilmat has some weight to it as I used the 80 mil thick option. That's inherent in all sound deadening but I used less than a full box, maybe I used two thirds of an 18.75 lb box. So go figure what that added is aprox 12 lbs across all four panels. The top is actually really light...
So I just drove again, the second trip, and noted the deadening has worked actually better than I was thinking this morning. I was driving on the 101 and started to really appreciate it. Even the ever present wind from the seams noise is down substantially. Now I can hear the tires and I...
When I took delivery of my Bronco it didnāt have the hardtop sound deadening package installed. Somewhere this got missed but Jeff at Galpin made it right and got the package delivered. Iām kind of glad it wasnāt installed as this gave me the opportunity to take advantage of a raw untreated...
Individual pics available to interested parties. These are sold as is and are used take-off wheels. They are in fantastic condition but are not perfect. The outer faces are near perfect. One small blemish can be seen on the inside lip, facing the undercarriage, of one wheel. It is cosmetic only.
Installed mine tonight. This looks really good and a perfect fit. Hopefully the folded lower will iron itself out as installed. Iām too impatient to wait for that to happen.
I'm selling my original Sasquatch rims from my Bronco Badlands. These are the gloss black center with the aluminum carbonized beauty ring that can be swapped for the deadlock ring, not included. They are 17" x 8.5" and have the valve stems and the original chrome lug nuts, but do not include...
They are quite decent in my opinion on road and off. Where they suck is on gravel roads. They aren't the only tire to have issues with gravel but they do hold an excessive amount of rocks in the valleys if the rocks are of a certain size. Which happens to be the exact size my one local gravel...
I'm interested in the non tip single version? Do you have a link for these? I saw an amazing video install by a guy in Virginia with that setup. Sounded really nice, subdued and clean which is what I'm after.
