  2. What motor oil are you going to run in your 2.7?

    I just found Quaker State Full synthetic at Walmart with the 2.7 spec printed right on the jug. It is only $20 for 5 quarts while Super Tech is $19. I read some studies that rated it better than most other 5w30 full synthetic oils.

    I edited my reply. It was hobble creek canyon that we came out of not American fork canyon. We did drive the alpine loop too but not same experience since it is paved the whole way.

    Love that area. We used to do the loop from Provo canyon to Hobble Creek canyon in our 66 bug when we were byu students in the early 80s. It did amazing and was completely stock.

    I like your callsign. I am from San Diego and my wife is from Anaheim, but we have lived in the Eastern Sierras for 40 years. We love the desert all winter and the sierras all summer. It is an amazing place.

    I got the PID from the F150 guys at this link: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/pid-experimenting.20273/ I programmed it in Torque Pro and it works. They give the conversion from Kpa to PSI too.

  14. No Analog Dial Tach? No Problem!

    The app is Torque Pro. Costs $5. There is free version called Torque lite. It is android only. It is specifically for automotive use. Does all DTC reading and clearing as well as readiness monitoring, but I am just using it for Displaying parameters that don't have a gauge on the bronco.

    I agree it is not ideal. I have to step around the bike, but at least I can open the door and get to my stuff.
