I have no idea what is normal, but if the question is because you are experiencing pre-ignition when engine is cold, yeah I and others have that too and claimed to be normal.
I just found a video about the technology that seems to explain why this is a downside of direct injection engines...
Recently had this happen with wind gust and was shocked at how far the door moved. No damage that I could tell but made a loud noise when it stopped. Is the tail light damage from the tire or door itself being able to hit? From the sound I was afraid the door aluminum hit a stop and was...
Thanks for the info. I really dislike the convex corner mirrors. They seem useless to me as they are small and objects in the convex seem small. Full flat mirror would be nice. The slight convex on the driver side would likely bother me as the slight convex that is normal on the passenger...
For one Bronco the dealer had plenty of time as I was out of town but a sale hold recall cropped up and that took a couple days. They had it all done by the time I could pick up.
The other Bronco dealer told me three business days (which also included a weekend in the middle) simply because...
Not a part, it is part of the door. Both my Broncos have that area exposed. I think it is cool. Reading responses apparently a two door thing, makes me wonder what the four door has.
A question for the dealer...
And even then any rationality and expectation can end up out then window in the end as the dealer sets the final price.... Hopefully you don't have any of those sorts of dealer games. Too many have gotten surprised when their car comes in with dealer...
My Black Diamond, I have mud flaps to add. While I am not a fan of how they will look the tires on the squatch throw too many stones.
My Base, not sure if I will do anything. Probably add roof rails or some roof rack. When tires wear out I would like to go a little larger and a bit more...
First, why do headlights require a "ECU"? Or any controller?
Second, the assertion that a criminal would need significant time to gain access is not well supported in my opinon. Criminals will find a way to get in quick. Who would have thought they be cutting off catalytic converters as...
Curious it got worse, suggests maybe the learning algorithm isn't so good. My old 02 explorer always shifts better when I pull the battery before it learns. My driving style, and/or bad learning algorithm seems to result in its shifting getting annoying over time. When I've had some work...
It's what they send when it is delivered and purchase is completed. I got one for each Bronco, the other gifts were only related to bronco reservation.
My BD came with both carpet and rubberized floor mats. The carpet was simple, I just moved to the back. The floor was then rubber. One takes out the insert and the drain plugs are underneath the rubber.
I grew up in a family of seven, for many years we had two cars, both Volkswagon beetles (a 68 and 73). When we were very little we could all cram into one but it wasn't long before a full family outing required taking both cars.
I guess I am saying I like my 2dr and will adjust use around...
Doubly irritating as one can bet that fuel economy, performance and emissions all suffer when it does this. I am coming to the conclusion that this is "normal" and it is more just because they don't care because they don't need to meet emissions and economy while engine is warming up.
I don't...
Yes and no. In a way yes it means more sold with bland colors...but that isn't why the dealers order the bland colors. The reason is that people tend to have strong color preferences when it comes to bright colors so the dealers prefer more neutral colors when it comes to stock vehicles as...
