  1. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

With 2.3" of adjustment on the front spring,, that's significant. Whatever you adjust at the shock is going to be 150% at the tire. I have to think you can get the stance where you'll be happy. Call Eibach and ask them the specs on the two springs.
  2. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

That's not necessarily true, if the shock is adjustable for ride height and you can set the ride height where you want it without a load. A heavier spring rate will not compress as much as a lighter spring rate when loaded. Progressive springs will also sag more than one that is not...
  3. High Temps Warning, Boosted

I would go for Accutune and their upgrade on the rear shock, as most of the cost of the upgrade is replacing the spring from a 185# to a 250# spring. It can be purchased separately, but as much as your truck weighs, you might need something heavier. The 185# will not be heavy enough for your...
  4. High Temps Warning, Boosted

Accutune's Ride and King Shocks have a few extra weight spring options, that would apply to your vehicle.
  5. High Temps Warning, Boosted

I think the Fox 2.5, Ride or King's shocks. all of which have remote reservoirs, would be cheaper and every bit as good, especially if you spring for their tuning mods. Besides the winch and front bumper what else are you running that has put on that much more weight?
  6. High Temps Warning, Boosted

You can get actual ECT readings by datalogging. I'm sure some tuning devices or phone apps can display actual coolant temps through the OBD port as well. You say engine temps have nothing to do with oil temps, but there is a correlation between the two. You see the oil cooler on the Bronco...
  7. High Temps Warning, Boosted

Ford sets their coolant parameters for these engines to run well north of 200° coolant temps. Cylinder head temps usually climb from there. Running hot Is all about gas mileage on a conservative tune. When is that a good idea for a tuned, boosted application to prevent detonation? Sorry, I...
  8. High Temps Warning, Boosted

I disagree it won't help. I've been running a 170° thermostat for almost a year and my typical coolant temps stay in the 185° range. It might get up to 195° on a high speed run, but cools back down after a minute or so. I have no idea if fan temps are altered in the ProCal tune, but the short...
  9. Bronco Wildtrak Stance (Front End)

My 2023 Wildtrak sat very high in the rear with the trailer towing package. Here it is with a 1.5" RPG collar and one spacer shim (.2" thick) on top of the strut mount. This combination lifted the front a little over an inch from it's original ride height. Rear is unaltered.
  10. Honest help with build plan; CAI, H/C Pipes, Intercooler, Exhaust

My first car was a '66 tri-power GTO, so I know where you're coing from I haven't driven anything that stayed stock in the 55 years that followed. No amount of bolt-ons will be realized without a custom tune. I've got the typical bolt-ons, but with the stock calibration, you won't realize...
  11. Looking for Badlands non SAS 33 inch tire RPM value on ProCal

Revs per mile is the number of full tire rotations a tire makes in a one mile distance. If calculated based on uninflated tire diameter data it will be off. Use rev per mile data from Tirerack or the manufacturer of your tire for the size you're running. These take the loaded tire dimensions...
  12. Ford 2.7L EcoBoost Tuners

I realize this is an old thread, but here's the truth on anything that modifies the factory calibration, even if it's removable. Intake, exhaust, calibrations will all void your warranty, but only the engine warranty and possibly the drivetrain warranty. Ford exempts the ProCal tune, but...
  13. Icon UCA balljoint nut substitute?

Worse come to worst, use lock tite on a conventional flanged nut.
  14. Rear TracBar Relocation Bracket - Get One!

This thread helps explain a lot of what I'm feeling in the rear of my stock suspension. I'm familiar with the issue because S197 mustangs suffer from the opposite effect upon lowering. My WT has the trailer package with the Hoss 3.0 and it sits higher out back than any Bronco I've seen, except...
  15. HOSS 3.0 Perch Collars vs Eibach Springs vs Eibach Coilivers

Regardless of lift method, the total amount of lift with the axle at full extension is where extreme CV angles come into play. You can measure the angles to see if there is too much droop, but the higher the ride height, the more your CVs will stay at a more aggressive angle in all driving...
  16. Fake engine sound disable

Well I have a 1 in that position, so I guess I have it. Still have a hard time understanding I actually have some sort of exhaust enhancement in the cab. I have a Borla Touring climber and SPD downpipes, and I can't wait to try this in an attempt to quell some of the pissed off tones at WOT...
  17. Another 2.3, 2.7 and 3.0 throttle body option

With a locked ECU, you won't see many going the custom tune route because it adds a bit of cost to getting a replacement ECU that is not locked and ZFG's programming for that ECU just to get it to interface seemlessly with the truck in stock form, before any tuning can take place. ZFG also...
  18. hoss 3.0 - adding FP winch - best way to lift and level

I think the Zone Hoss 3.0 lift would work to give you the lift you want, but instead of the perch collar that comes in the Zone kit, use a 1.5" perch collar. The perch collar should take care of the winch droop. I didn't get a whole inch out of the 1.5" collar on my '23 Wildtrak without a...
  19. PSA: Stay away from Eibach

I edited OP's pic because of the dark exposure and other obstacles cluttering the shot. I'm scratching my head about his initial complaint. My Wildtrak had a lot of rear rake, so I was expecting to see some Carolina Squat going on, as opposed to dead nuts level.
  20. HOSS 3.0 Perch Collars vs Eibach Springs vs Eibach Coilivers

I've added a 1.5" collar to my '23 Wildtrak and a mount spacer to gain 1" of ride height up front to level out the rake about 10 months ago. While I think the perceived increase in spring rate has more to do with this shock's construction than pre-load, it highlights the fact that the shock...
