  1. Urban Sasquatch daily driver sanity check!

    lol duh, forgot about that!
  2. Urban Sasquatch daily driver sanity check!

Is it the 2.3 or 2.7? I have a 2.3 manual with the 33ā€ Badlands wheels/KO2s which I believe weigh about the same as the 35ā€ Goodyears on Sas package wheels. I keep my revs down around 2,000 at all times to keep the turbo boost to a minimum and I get roughly 20mpgs combined on 93 (running Ford...
  3. Loan help

In my experience the dealer is always able to match the best loan you can find through one of their various lenders they work with. As others said, see what rate your own bank can do so you have a baseline for negotiating. When u sit down with finance manager, tell him you ā€œprobablyā€ planned on...
  4. Help!!! Kings made my steering wonky.

Sounds to me like a case of letting somebody other than yourself work on your truck lol. Unfortunately nowadays this is usually the outcome. There’s about a zero % chance of it riding as nice as it did before those mods but I would imagine it shouldn’t pull extremely hard to one side.
  5. If you were on the fence...

Is this an actual confirmed thing that is coming? I have not heard anything about an update.
  6. If you were on the fence...

Ford Performance tune requires at least 91 octane… engine knocks if you go below that. Would be great if they allowed you to set it to 87 and still access the other features but unfortunately thats not the case.
  7. If you were on the fence...

Maybe it makes an impact with the auto… I don’t feel like it was much of a difference with the manual - especially considering it costs me an extra $20 for premium fuel every time I fill up…. basically the same outcome as drastically lower mpg when it comes to $ spent. Rev matching and the...
  8. Are the stock squatch tires really that bad?

I have heavy-ass KO2s on my Badlands takeoffs. Will probably switch to the territories when the KO2s wear out. There is no other tire on market (at least from established brands) that offer balance of price, weight, looks, and true all terrain performance that I have found.
  9. Any experience with the Omotor hard top roof rack?

Don’t do it. If you want that style get on Facebook market and find a factory takeoff for that price or less. Lots of them available at this point.
  10. Bestop Squareback Soft Top planned?

I had a hardtop and moved to the Bestop softop. Originally I was not interested in it because I thought I wanted a softop that folded all the way back. Then I rode in some OEM softops and realized folding the top all the way back hinders rear visibility, so I decided that function was kind of...
  11. I need help! Before I buy tomorrow.

Right but the 2.3 and 2.7 have exact same tow rating and the OP already said he doesn’t really have a use case for all the off-road extras anyways. My point is neither vehicle sounds like the best fit given he could save $10k, get a newer model year, and still meet his needs.
  12. I need help! Before I buy tomorrow.

I wouldn’t buy either honestly. $57k just seems too much for a non sas ā€˜23 at this stage. WT is a decent deal but sounds like u r paying $10k extra for stuff u know you don’t need. The 24’s get marine grade vinyl and the 12ā€ screen standard so if u don’t want/need sas package save like $10k and...
  13. Bike rack (in the hitch) recommendations?

I’ve tried a ton of them, pretty much every kind. Favorite one is the Kuat Transfer. It’s cheap (compared to most others), light, easy to use, and can handle e-bikes. If you get the Thule or Kuat hitch extension to go with it, it also allows the rear gate to open fully when tilted down. I used...
  14. Windshield Roof Rack Brackets

Waiting on the same thing to come out…. the only option released so far is by 22 Winty and not even sure if that is still being produced. I use my trailer or hitchmount-rack right now but it would be nice to not have to deal with something so bulky just to strap a kayak down. Can’t believe more...
  15. 3.73 Gear Ratio for mostly daily driving & uphill driveway snow ice a couple days a year?

The fuel savings will be negligible and if you are ever going to want bigger tires the 4.27 gears are going to handle that a lot better. Even then, worth having the locker for resale alone. Not sure what price is now but if it’s still around a $500 option definitely get it.
  16. Roof rack that goes with trektop?

I use a trailer or my hitchmount-rack depending on how many I’m taking out:
  17. I asked my local Ford dealer to install the FORD PERFORMANCE PROCAL 4 CALIBRATION

It literally takes like 15 min to do yourself and you can return the tune to stock at any point if you would ever need to make a warranty claim. I wouldn’t take it to the shop they will probably find a way to screw it up anyways… don’t overthink it, you are literally plugging in a cable and...
  18. Would you trade-in? Bronco for Bronco

Is this a joke? lol….no way. My .02 is If ur gonna spend an extra $300 a month go get a motorcycle or a sxs or something so u have a Bronco AND another toy instead of the same toy you already have with less money. The fact that u r upside down on the vehicle is bad enough don’t make the...
  19. Speaker Upgrade Advice Needed!

I put the same speakers in - made very small improvement. I then added a small under-seat Pioneer sub. It’s low powered (meant for hybrids) so does not need an amp and wires to fuse box right under steering wheel. Massive improvement with that simple, cheap addition. Not gonna rattle you, but...
  20. Anyone care to help a gal out?! Underseat Powered Sub Install/Powered Seats

I installed the small, under-seat Pioneer sub that is designed for hybrid vehicles - it is low powered so easily wires right into fuses under steering wheel. It sits right under my seat on the factory rear rubber floor mat, not attached to anything and stays put fine. There is a write-up on it...
