The wireless charger was not fast but I also have a fairly thick case on my phone. YMMV, the USB-C charged my phone pretty fast though.
If you haven’t been in a JL or new Ram, FCA has the interior game down lock to a ridiculous level. Most people say the new F-150 isn’t as nice inside as the...
I did not unfortunately, the only on road driving I did was in the 1st edition and the two off road bilstein shock Broncos I drove were Sasquatch not badlands.
I didn’t pay a whole bunch of attention, the B&O stereo was the only one I listened to and it sounded fine. Nothing mind blowing. I’m a big fan of DIY stereo stuff though, whatever money you put into getting a better factory stereo gets you something WAY better aftermarket.
If you are super objective with the review and compare it to stuff like the Land Rover and other SUV’s not designed to off road I’m sure it doesn’t compare all that well. But compared to the wrangler (realistically it’s only competition) it is a pretty significant amount better.
Even the non Sasquatch is a ton of fun on some rough dirt roads. Vaughn mentioned to me it is “like a rzr” and I agree, but it is a bit stiffer. The rzr suspension is crazy soft, you really wouldn’t want that for a daily. Bronco soaks up the bumps but also feels sporty and controlled. Riding...
I’ve been on some of the hardest off road trails in the country riding along with my buddies. The trails at this were pretty specifically curated, they are exactly hard enough to show the capability but also that people of any skill level can do them. They aren’t technical, but there were some...
What I will say about the lower trim levels is that the “feel” of the driving experience carries over. There is something indescribable about how this thing drives that’s just awesome, and the non squatch BD still has it. If I was being honest with myself about what I’ll actually use my Bronco...
It depended on which trail, we weren’t stuck they just recommended one and then I never changed it personally. I just used the hero switches to lock and unlock diffs and activate trail turn assist.
Just press the middle button on the selector dial! From there you can also activate trail control...
Update: Sorry it’s taken so much time guys, I have had an absolutely insane week at work and traveling, and just haven’t had time to sit down and write. Here are my written initial first impressions, if y’all want any clarification just let me know!
Intro:
The new Ford Bronco is going to draw...
Full disclosure, it’s 20 minutes but worth watching all the way through. Based on this, I’m honestly impressed Ford is able to build any Broncos at all. Really gives some context about what our friends in the supply chain are dealing with. Also gives me some hope that the lessons of the pandemic...
They talked to us a bit about the noise with trail turn assist, it does sound exactly like the ABS system engaging because that’s basically what it does! The commented everyone is a little freaked out about it at first but it’s fine.
Nobody knows at this point. Ford is just trying to get ahead of this by making it clear that they don’t know either how this is all going to play out. 6 months from now maybe the commodities will be all sorted out, hard top and Sasquatch Broncos are just flying out the door, etc. OR the supply...
