That makes sorta, kinda sense............now I know what "Beadlock capable" means.
Beauty rings........ that sorta cosmetic crap is such a "hot button" for me and another reason I really want the 2021 Bronco. With more and more iterations, quality will go down, "pig-lipstick" will increase...
Old thread but question: Is it a "Beauty Ring" or is it a "Beadlock Ring" I like silver, but am getting WT. If I can swap, I will..................BUT those are two ENTIRELY different types of rings. Additionally, is it a cheesy "bead lock" or stout like my KMC's----need function not "beauty"
They are both good for what they are good for.............there are times where I would love a long wheel base on a vehicle to CLIMB certain obstacles, then times where a CJ5 would be perfect for breakover to CLEAR certain obstacles, but in the end--------the EB and CJ7 are a nice "happy...
Agree with others...............do what you want NOW w/ your build, only going to be a hassle and more expensive later. That being said, the electronics are cool, cute and a bit of a novelty BUT---- we've all dealt w/ electrical crap. Fun for years 1-5 and then..........gremlins.
The less...
Finally someone showing real life, realistic wheeling. 1. compound on tires is a bit hard, or maybe need to air down a bit. 2 that section past the waterfall before the wedge would have been interesting to see. That seems like the real test I would have liked to see that as it would have told...
I spoke on this subject with similar concerns and Moab experience....then a guy from LA, with a Jeep on 31's... preceded to essentially tell me I didn't have a clue. Thanks for vindication!
If you need help at KOH sign me up. My boys run but I don't want to just sit around waiting to wrench on stuff. Patrick Petersen BadAxe Productions. Would make it worth while. Baja was/is a grinder time and logistically but Johnson Valley is a bit more accessible.
Totally Agree. Glad we are here having this discussion vs. speculating about if/when a concept vehicle moving to production. It's been a long wait!
And it's definitely NOT a Bronco II. My hard core Jeep friends have a lot of respect for this Bronco
The Broncos did great at 2021 KOH. Check...
You bring up a great point--
You bring up a great point...should have qualified the statement.
After wheeling for 30 years, building/fabricating, wheeling different platforms, rolling with buddies who race Ultra4 and pit for baja1000 crews, live/run trails in the Rocky mountain, attend EJS...
Sounds like we are super aligned. Essentially we plan the same thing for our new rigs. If I am out exploring and get into a "problem" I want something that will get me out, but not running technical trails with it...this fits the bill. Daily Driver for me. I'll use my EB rig for those. I agree...
I don't know that LED's, rock rails and rough country skid plates qualify. I'm talking 3 or 4 link, hydro assist, 60's, 5.38's, shafts, body armor, heavy bumpers, coil overs, zero approach/departure. ...full mods.
When it is all said and done, from what I have been able to research--the Bronco w/ MT/SaS/2.7 is a great platform to go nuts with and build a super capable rock crawler (recent tie rod post are a bit concerning)---but for the average knucklehead who is going to go through a puddle, lock in for...
Green, Red, Blue.............an accent here and logo there and an associated upcharge because it is a "Raptor".................you should be paying me.
