  1. Sasquatch Package With Manual Transmission [Sign Petition For It!]

Sounds like y'all manual transmission folks need to row your own over there to bombard their Twitter feed with complaints.
  2. Limited Manual Options?!

The 2.0L turbo has 30 lb.-ft. more torque at the expense of 15 horsepower compared to the 3.6 Pentastar. Horsepower is irrelevant in most off road applications, and especially rock crawling, where Jeep is currently king. Torque, however, is desirable. The 3.0L diesel is a dog for horsepower...
  3. 2021 Bronco on factory 2" inch lift kit + 37" tires. Doors and top removed

The Sasquatch package already includes a 3" lift (changes ground clearance from 8.5" to 11.5"). Are you wanting a factory 4" lift instead of or in addition to that?
  4. 2021 Bronco on factory 2" inch lift kit + 37" tires. Doors and top removed

I'm right there with you. It didn't stop me from buying a Toyota Tundra (way better firewood truck than my old Sonoma), and it won't stop me from buying a Bronco. I'll probably stick with 35" tires, though.
  5. Limited Manual Options?!

This is actually an excellent comparison, because you can only get a stick on a Wrangler with the base engine. Change to the turbo 4 or the diesel, you're stuck with an 8-speed auto.
  6. Roof rack and compatibility / weight ratings for a roof-top tent?

And this begs the question "How much does an average rooftop tent weigh?" Two adults that weigh anything close to what my fat ass does are already going to exceed the static roof load rating. If the RTT weighs very much more than "nothing," you're screwed.
  7. Not a gear head so explain to me 2.3 vs 2.7 . . .

That's true, and Toyota's 4.0L is considered to be pretty much bulletproof, but I've seen a lot of complaints about it being "weak," "underpowered," or "a dog." I've only driven one vehicle with Toyota's 4.0L, and that was a friend's FJ Cruiser. Even though I was pulling a trailer (fairly...
  8. Not a gear head so explain to me 2.3 vs 2.7 . . .

You may be right, but Ford's not going to put that in the Bronco. So perhaps I should rephrase: If the Coyote is more complexity than you want, you're probably not going to find that dirt simple engine in a modern production medium sized off road capable vehicle.
  9. Not a gear head so explain to me 2.3 vs 2.7 . . .

Fair enough, but I'll point out that if the Coyote is more complexity than you want, you're probably not going to find that dirt simple engine in a modern vehicle, even if you stick with the naturally aspirated options available today.
  10. Official 2021 Ford Bronco Info Thread: Specs, Wallpapers, Photos, Videos, Colors, Trims

Man, I can't even afford to go to Rivian's website. Buying a Rivian is out of the question for me.
  11. X PLAN AND FORD STOCK?

It's up to the dealer whether they accept X-Plan at all. Either they do or they don't. The source of your X-Plan pin is (should be, anyway) irrelevant to the dealer.
  12. Not a gear head so explain to me 2.3 vs 2.7 . . .

Speaking as another dumb millennial, I prefer the simplicity of a naturally aspirated engine, too. Fewer parts means fewer parts that can break. That said, the EcoBoost family of engines have been on the market since 2009, and the 2.3L and 2.7L EcoBoosts have been around since 2015. While...
  13. First Thoughts After the Reveal

I was disappointed in that, too. I was pretty excited and expecting something like the F-150 reveal where they had various engineers come out and talk about the different systems, how they worked, and how they compared to previous versions and the competition. But we didn't get that. I'm...
  14. Bronco6G Live Reveal Viewing Party (With Giveaways)! ?

Pretty sure you will e able to get that done at the dealer and still be covered by factory warranty.
  15. Bronco6G Live Reveal Viewing Party (With Giveaways)! ?

I tried that, no luck. It may just be that the website is overloaded at the moment. It'll be there later to play with, no doubt.
  16. Bronco6G Live Reveal Viewing Party (With Giveaways)! ?

But I gotta go fast be first! Not really. Unless I win the lottery or Publisher's Clearing House, I'm still not a first year buyer, but you know how some people are.
  17. Bronco6G Live Reveal Viewing Party (With Giveaways)! ?

Not even that for me. Tried to build and price a Sport for the LOLs, but it doesn't recognize my zip code. I know I live out in the country outside a tiny-ass town, but that zip code is still valid. Tried the zip code for my work (in the 2nd largest city in the State), still says it's not a...
